There was a chart floating around not too long ago that broke down homicide convictions by race and age, and yes young black males were orders of magnitude greater than all other categories combined, when you went down the black column by age older black males still were put away for murder at a greater rate. Even black women had more murder convictions than white males in some categories.
Whether this is merely a cultural thing or if there's a reater genetic predisposition for animalistic behavior among blacks is a debate for another time. So the crime is isolated to a minority within a minority.
