Over the last few years, I have lost faith in our government, at all levels, our school system our healthcare system, the church and of humanity in general. Somehow, all these things have made my faith in GOD stronger. This has brought me comfort and peace.
Sadly all of those things is true for me. Well apart from making some kind of discovery in my heart about the Lord. And yes, this discovery has brought be some comfort and peace.
The root of this discovery is the revelation of how utter and how widespread the evil on Earth is right now. My logic is that if the evil can be this implacable and total, then there has to be a God as there is balance in all things. And he must be so mighty indeed to be able to balance out the evil that permeates and pollutes everywhere in this world.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Except I am truly shaken to the core by what I see them doing to our children. I know this was a big thing with Trump also but was handled mostly behind the scene. It is time for this s#$t to be stopped. Damn... this is the third response tonight on same topic...... it is just everywhere. The children abuse is also a major red line with Putin. The charge against him for traffic in children is so debased. NO matter what Trump and Putin are charged with, I love them for what they are doing to save children.
I must confess of late I have done a poor job of handing my burdens over completely to the Lord and instead taken some of them out on you, my brothers and sisters. And I apologize for not treating you with the love and respect our Lord has treated me with.
I've heard it said many times, "I'm giving it up to God." I've also heard some other aphorisms that seem to sort of contradict such a thing, like "God does not put things in front of you that you cannot handle," and my favorite, which I consider to be a guiding principle, "Pray to God but steer the ship away from the rocks." Any frogs have any thoughts/insights that make these two ideas co-exist?
As we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, that is, through the troubles and sufferings of life, the Lord is with us as the One who breathed Himself into His disciples in Jn. 20:22, and appeared in their midst, or disappeared, and yet He was still with them. And is with us unto the end of the age. When we are in this valley, we should simply remain there and rest in the Lord. Our resting in the Lord will shorten the valley, reduce the shadows, and remove the death.
I’ve worked hard at giving the wheel to Jesus and taking a chance. Blessings are overflowing. The meek are simply the people who believe kindness is strength. I feel safe for the first time in a long time and I know my kids and family will have a fighting chance. Don’t loose faith, manifest it.

Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says,
"I will try again tomorrow"
"I am still here." That's enough sometimes.
