A French friend told me there are organizations that handle the logistics of staging protests. Evidently, most protests we see in France start with someone getting a permit that designates a specific area for the protest to be held. The riot police then set up a perimeter around that area.
The protests we see over retirement are now are out of control. And, I think seeing how large they are getting, more people are attracted to join.
Also, keep in mind the U.S. Government staged a false flag on January 6, 2021 and have been holding protesters without trial for two years. That has a very chilling effect on mass demonstrations if you are a conservative minded person.
What will it take for people to start protesting in USA?
This is literally a moronic question. Protest what? To state the blatantly obvious, normal people need a good reason to protest.
Even the leftists and communists paid to protest in blue cities (almost) follow those rules.

I don't disagree that small half hearted protests don't tend to produce much of anything unless it's part of a propaganda campaign backed by the cabal and MSM, but a relentless and forceful protest can overthrow governments
However the country doers are spread out and busy prepping; no time for a prolonged street battle when you're tilling and seeding and calving... The city folk are surrounded by actual violent criminals, and those in between are neither awake nor organized enough. They will all attend a positive rally but are not ready to lay seige to town hall yet. When scarcity rears its head, perhaps.
We will all go down a dark tunnel before seeing light again. They must really see the enemy, get over fear and get filled with righteous anger, and then together we will retake our towns, states, and country.
We have 100x the land mass as France. We are, size-wise, 50 different countries. It's a different animal to get those kinds of protests here. Luckily, we also have the states as a safeguard against total federal tyranny. Their whole everything government is right down the street from everybody by comparison.
It hasn't happened here because they haven't gone after our 401ks, social security or medicare yet. The French government went after their pensions
