God is also more than going to church. It's about forming a deep intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Most definitely not useless. When u truly do this u gain so much power in him. He strengthens you and renews your mind
We are very devout but don’t even go to church. My church as a youth had a huge split. Been church visiting ever since. No place felt like home and if people think Jews are an annoying bunch, Christians are no different. Miserable fakes.
I completely agree. Christians will rip each other off and say it is in the name of Jesus to forgive (closed our church too). I hate the "Matthew" way of resolving conflict. It has never worked in any of my experiences, just made things worse. Christians will smile to your face and stab you in the back, then repent and "be forgiven" on Sunday. I am a Christian, however I will never get too comfortable in a church again. I chase good kids programs since that's the season of life I am in, but will never get too comfortable at a church again. The people are nuts.

Please do not give up on finding "a good church!" It's still possible. ALSO, it's quite possible that the main thing you'll be doing is forging relationships with GOOD Christians who you will later be in a home church with. The current legislative agenda will drive the Church underground; that hasn't happened yet.
When u turn back to God u often go through moments of dark night of the soul that can appear as sickness. God often uses weak moments to strengthen our faith. Keep turning to him fren. Love u

He’s coming soon in most of our current lifetime as well. I’m quite excited since we’ve already been “hearing” from him in a sense. And of course obvious events going on around the world. Dear God ya can’t send him soon enough haha, to help lay the smackith down!

My first Pastor said if there's a perfect church he doesn't want to go to it because then it wouldn't be perfect anymore.
