My father in law agrees with me but wants me to flip of back around because he’s afraid of crazy’s shooting up my house… My brother in law, who’s generally full of shot but thinks he knows everything g always said the neighbors are ALL asking him about it and now he’s fed up so he tells them I wear a tin foil hat, I believe they spray stiff in the sky and that the earth is flat (I don’t)… When i told him YES! I fucking love it! Keep telling them that!” He got triggered and left the room haha. Then, later, I was also accused of being a member (me laughing) of the “QAnon Cult”. When I tried to explain there’s no such thing he then accused me of getting triggered and kept on that I must be a member. Lmfao. Refused to even let me speak to explain it. Whether he agrees or not, fucking asshole.
Well…. Tonight I was confronted about my upside down flag…

Been there. First the condo association confronted me...my explanation satisfied them. Then a veteran from a church came buy to see if I was "okay"...had to explain to him as well. Then the police showed up at my door to check on me. I was told that the veteran adult son of my next door neighbor had seen my flag and was sitting, drunk at a VA hall when the bartender overheard him threatening to come and shoot me. I am grateful to the bartender for reporting it and we were unharmed, but the officer who responded was also a veteran and I had to explain to him as well the reason it was being flown "in distress". He understood and I refused to 'fix' the flag, stood my ground. At the time, Obama was in office and I was feeling more and more as if our country was being attacked from within and we truly were a nation in distress....so it stayed that way until Trump took office, then I gladly and with a hopeful heart turned it right side. It's sad to me that veterans tend to take it personally. I hope they will begin to understand and see...."enemies, both foreign and domestic"....that our republic is at stake and we are in more distress than ever.
Big Fren Hug, and yes my fren, we do take it ""Personally"", but there are many of us who know exactly why many are now flying it upside down, and we agree, you're doing it Right, and Just and Honorable....
Keep doing what you do, keep explaining it, but keep Strapped....
I have been putting my flag stamps upside down on all my mail.
Mine has been upside down for over a week , I live in a hoa community, I've lived here for about a year. Once on memorial day they dinged me about my little flags I used to line the sidewalk with, so I mounted the (big flag) on the door frame with light on it at night. So far nobody has said anything. It will stay upside down until we take America back.
There's people in this very thread that don't get it.
The number of people I know who don’t think to google the most basic things is astounding. Then they openly wonder how I know so much about a broad range of topics.
When I get curious, I start looking and reading. So many others seem content with ignorance.
Wear that tinfoil hat with pride, fren! 🎆🐸🎆
Keep up the fight, and fly your flag they way you want.
Tell them this is america.
America is always spelled with a capital A. It's actually disrespectful to not capitalize the a.
Kind of like flying a flag upside-down.
No , when the country is in distress , patriots fly the flag upside down.
And drop the capitalization.
If they feel like it.
It's still sort of a free country.
United States of America is the Name.

This is from 1789.
Nope again . That's just disrespectful. We patriots don't hate America, but it's ok to disagree with the government and the way they run things , and a good way to express it, 2 different subjects.
My family did a lot more than misspell the name of the country, for a lot less provocative 250 some years ago......
Welp , so has mine , and I myself have too . Ex army paratrooper, but do what you want , I was just trying to help keep you from appearing so stupid. So much for that.
I went all over town today (arraignment day - 4/4/23) into a bunch of businesses wearing a shirt with an upside-down flag on it. Nobody asked me what it was about and nobody gave me any grief about it. This was the best way I could protest in my locale.
A fun way to get shed of unwanted visitors.
"You have a home. go to it. at the count of three, you're an intruder."
I don't engage with those types. I subtly make fun of them and then ignore them.
I bet you have fun Thanksgivings 😁
We have a Masonic Temple 1/2 mile from our house (in a residential neighborhood, but on a main road). I found it strange the other day that there was activity/meeting at 11:00.
Those guys are acting suspiciously and should be watched IMO.
Am/ pm?
AM. Sorry, I think in military time with 23:00 being 11:00 pm.
👍🏼
Anytime a group operates in darkness or wears a mask to concile their identity they are straight up wrong
Wait… what’s all this about flying the flag upside down? I have missed something…
That's your wife's father..... It's like treading on holy ground. You better do it lightly and with precaution. Alienating your wife's family is affecting your wife. Any perceived trouble between daughter and mom is a very perilous situation.
I hear ya… but there’s a lot more to this situation. I’ve already been alienated by the same people over Covid. I don’t even care anymore. Second, I’ll be damned if someone who came here from another country is going to dictate to me, a natural born citizen, how I can, can’t should or shouldn’t exercise my first amendment right.. Sorry, I respect your opinion, but guess what… I’m not changing.
Forget about em. Our country is in distress. It’s dying. Anyone who cannot see that by now, will never see it. They are lost.
