The DNC and Elias had a number of strategic disagreements, according to sources familiar with the internal deliberations.
Elias has represented the DNC since 2009. His firm, the Elias Law Group, represents all of the major Democratic entities in Washington. Elias will continue to work for the DCCC, DSCC, DAGA and DLCC. And Elias counts a slew of senators and members as clients.
Most notably, Elias, a former partner at Perkins Coie, has been behind what he calls the “Democracy Docket” — an array of voting rights challenges nationwide. On Tuesday, Elias said this covered 45 cases in 18 states. And Elias has a knack for winning these cases, raising the ire of Republicans.
Elias’ firm has pulled in roughly $100,000 this year already from the DNC, according to FEC filings. In the 2022 cycle, the DNC paid Elias’ firm just shy of $2 million, according to campaign reports.
Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for the DNC, told us this:
“The DNC works with a number of law firms on voting rights litigation, compliance, contracting and more. The DNC is appreciative of Elias Law Group’s years of work in service of the values we share.”
A spokesperson for the Elias Law Group said:
“Elias Law Group is proud of the work it has done for the DNC. We look forward to continuing to represent the Democratic Party as well as helping citizens vote, and progressives make change.”

A lot of anons are more up to speed than I am but here goes my theory...Elias is compromised. He is dishing up the dirt on the dems, if for no other reason to save his own ass when it hits the fan. Why the hell else would he distance himself from the dem party, especially since they are "winning" so many elections?
Every single time there has been a dispooted election or fraud, he's been front and center. In Florida with DeSantis/Gillum he went down on his private jet, starts his usual BS in front of the TV cameras about "upholding democracy" (Ryder trucks full of "found" ballots in heavily dem precincts), the usual threats, etc. And then he quietly turns tail, jumps on his private jet to DC, and has nothing more to say.
We DO know that Trump sent down DOJ agents/assets to investigate obvious election fuckery. My guess is the good guys pulled him aside, told him they have the goods on him, and he can either get on a jet back to DC and cooperate or get fitted for an orange jumpsuit.
Elias is likely the lynchpin for a lot of Fraud Inc. Funneling dark money through skeezy law firms for "services rendered" or "consulting" is a favored MO of the political left. Fraud Inc is probably a very large organization with lots of low level flunky dumbshits who intentionally know nothing. I bet Elias is one of the brains and money men behind it. Compromise Elias, the whole structure comes crashing down.
Hillary is the biggest threat to Elias, but a close second are the hundreds of former formidable law partners who won't rest until they firewall all of Elias's bad deeds in a way that they can't torpedo their law firms and personal careers.
He didnt hang himself ,shoot himself twice in the back of the head,,throw the gun in to the Lake ,and then drive himself out into the desert and throw himself down an abandoned mineshaft,..it may seem totally preposterous,.but it is possible,..as several former Clinton Associates,can testify,.to that.as they were able to achieve this seemingly impossible feat,themselves.!
