I remember those days. The moral decay over my lifetime is astonishing. I work with some Gen x and they have no idea. No goals, no morals, lacking the ability to do anything without having their hand held. It is pitiful what we let happen
You're seeing that in Gen X'ers? The generation that grew up on their own, surviving on their own, leaving in the morning and wandering the town all day on our bikes and managing to eat, survive and navigate life at like 8 years old.
Sure you arent talking about others when it comes to the no goals and needing to be hand held? The moral decay hit us, we certainly weren't as innocent as what the 50's have been described to me, but thats about the only thing on your list that you could point a finger at Gen X for. What you describe is a millennial. Sounds like you know some broken Gen X'ers, probably from a big city in California or something.
Definitely describing a millennial.
I think you mean Gen Z. Us Gen X'ers are old enough to remember marksmanship classes in school, and bringing our .22 rifles in for show and tell.
I took a .22 to English class, to give a demonstrative speach. I cleaned the rifle.
Late 70s.
This is like how Japan has archery classes for traditionalists.
We had gun shit because gun shit is traditional, fiery American badassery.
In the eighties, at our high school, students were allowed to bring compound bows to school on the school bus.
I remember when my son was in HS that kids had their shotguns in the window rack so they could deer hunt after school, during season.
Sorry, but WTH are they wearing? Are you sure this isn't in Israel, or some ME terrorist training camp? My gym shorts didn't look like that...
They got rid of mental institutions and the mentally ill have had and raised children. And then the cabal has been allowed to poison our bodies and minds.
Our one elementary school has a shooting range in the basement. The school used to be a middle school in the 50's, and they had a shooting team. Now it's just storage. Very sad.
My wifes Uncle used to bring his rifle on the train to school. They had a shooting range in the basement of the school.
My high school was still based. My JROTC ran turkey shoots for everyone in November and we did air rifle marksmanship every year in the early 90's on school campus. This was out west. Not so sure they still have that today.
It was Middle school for me
