We've been at it a couple of years; learned that the tamer types tend to get invaded more, because they're gentler, so keep a close eye on your colonies to catch problems early.
Please don't make unwise comments, friends, I'm just so tired and done with the $hit going on in this world. I told hubby tonight...at the rate this world is deteriorating and the lack of anyone, Military included, of bringing the traitors to justice; I would welcome a complete nuclear annihilation of the world and let GOD just start over.
I'm tired of clones, body doubles, masks, fences, NY, CA, Oregon, Washington, DC, lies, no notary oaths, COG, Devolution, prophecies, on and on and on and on to what end? They are all breaking the laws but there is not one person who is doing a damn thing about the criminals.
Except, I do not want to come back. I would prefer staying in Heaven for eternity.🙏
The whole thing just doesn't make any sense. Take avian flu for example. How does it make sense to kill millions of chickens to prevent them... dying? And it can't possibly be to prevent it spreading to wild birds, unless they're claiming this bird flu is some new invention from a lab, because bird flu isn't new at all. If it were going to kill all the wild birds it would have done so already.
The way nobody seems to even think about it, and just go, "oh dear, now we need to kill them," is the most terrifying aspect.
If it's any consolation the bulk of human calories have zero need for bees because they come from self-pollinating plants like rice, wheat, corn, potatoes, etc. Cows, pigs, and chickens all eat self-pollinating foods. And a human with a paintbrush can pollinate as well.
But did you know the Varroa mite carries all sorts of viruses that will kill other insects, including yellow jackets? I'm fine trading any, and preferably all, insects on Earth if it will get rid of yellow jackets. And if some bats and birds die off as well, boohoo, it's still worth it. The only useful thing bats do is eat insects.
Don't believe this circle of life propaganda. The human food chain is a rather insular thing which doesn't need insects. Or bids other than chickens because that's where the tendies come from and chickens will eat grain.
...bees are our friends...
I just started my first hive.

God bless you, may this one be the first of many more to come....
First rule of beekeeping?
I'm using Italian bees. They are more tame. I have checked my hive without a suit before
The Africanized bees will sting the shit out of you.
Find a friend/school/club to learn about beekeeping.
Bees colonies have a lot of little quirks that you need to know about. A lot of this is about controlling the queen.

I have a wild hive in a tree nearby. These butt me if I mow too close.
Nevermind

All my bees got lost in a boating accident.
Um... You don't talk about beekeeping?🐸
I keep bees but for fun, not profit. The gov can stay the hell away.
With respect to the "avian flu" and effect on egg prices (and chickens?), the following article claims that none of its chickens had the disease...yet they made record profits from all the hype: https://www.investors.com/news/cal-maine-earnings-expected-to-soar-575-percent-as-egg-prices-remain-inflated/
Something doesn't smell right here...

I agree wholeheartedly...
I was nervous about the response to my post...but thank you for being a normal human being. 🥰🙏
Explained: Why Has Australia Killed Millions Of Honeybees
Australia has had to kill millions of honeybees to stop a potentially deadly parasite infection named Varroa mite in the last two weeks.

Hey Australia --- your dumbfuck government.
Use a Varroa Trap
https://www.mannlakeltd.com/hives-components/10-frame-varroa-trap-with-drawer/
This is what I use.
Not so much that they don’t want us to eat, more so that they are expecting a mass decline in population. Wonder how many will perish? Cough cough
The part nobody is talking about is that the chickens are still safe to eat as per the cdc's own website.
Has it come to...............What bees?
Lost my guns fishing all my bees died same year!
Can't catch a break!
Isn't Australia where manuka honey comes from, like the healthiest sort?

Couldn't agree more.Bees are not the end of life. Only about a third of plants are pollinated by bees. Heck they are not even native to the US.
