I live a couple of hours from the border. I’m all for it. However, I can see the Feds arresting anyone that participates regardless of any law Texas passes. They have proven time and again that they have no regard for state’s rights or that of the people they are entrusted to protect and serve.

The alternative, if you have read a page of any history involving invasion, is much, much worse.
The women and children must be protected. Any whom interfere with that protection are suspect.

I bet their are hundreds of thousands of combat vets in Texas with more training and expirance, than the border patrol.
Their were lots of combat veterans in 1870 as well. Look at what they did to the James gang in Minnesota.
Anybody who's seen actual combat at this point is well past the age when they should be involved in combat. Give that experience to the youngsters.
My dad was out on the line in New Mexico at 80 years of age. 10 or 15 years ago it was a patriot thing.

There are plenty of us that have seen actual combat that can still do what needs to be done to defend our borders, our Constitutional Republic, just as well as our own lives and property.
