This is how they starve populations into submission. Rice is a staple in many countries.
WEF only promotes big soy.
What they fail to mention here is that many of those "flooded" rice fields are done by small, independent farmers and also serve the dual purpose of farming fish. If you can't flood the fields, all you get from that acreage is rice, drastically decreasing the income of the poor farmers barely surviving as it is. It is yet another half truth by big agriculture designed to destroy the little guy.
Of course it hurts the planet. It feeds billions of useless eaters that the mother WEFer's want dead.

So rice is bad because the fields have decaying plant matter, therefore swamplands and jungle rainforest must also be bad because they also have decaying plant matter that contains methane?
