They need to disavow the trans fags. Say it is wrong and evil to target kids.....
Then in about 5 years we can give them a pass. If they wanted to speed that up, they could run national ads about the evils of transitioning kids. When it's illegal everywhere in America, it would be ok to drink bud light again.
Nope. Never forgive, never forget. They put money, reputation and wokeism before everything. They need to be destroyed forever. Once a traitor, always a traitor.
Imo, the employees need to get ahead of the rush and get their resumes out to other brewers and distribution outfits.
And the entire brand needs to wither on the vine and die.
There's no walking this back. We really need to stop falling for that bullshit.
No more "oops. we didn't mean it!" Yeah. You did. And you think we're stupid enough to believe your non-apology apologies? F U.
And a notice to everyone else. If your company is in this mindset, jump ship and find a place that isn't. Because your company is gonna do something stupid and get its shit shoved in.
PEOPLE DO NOT WANT THE TRANS SHIT. Lefties do not listen or learn, so something needed done to communicate the public anger over this.
As such, "Bud Light" is now an irreparably damaged brand, forever associated with a liar and freak, and 'woke' more broadly. One can't separate things now. The hq's response response has been tepid. The whole thing was a massive miscalculation and the market has responded accordingly.
...I understand the guy in AL reaching out to his community. Ironically, there are families affected by this. That part is too bad.
"Bud Light" will continue to be a bad joke and an excellent example, now that people know the boycott is working and other companies are starting to pay attention.
They still get more placements in stores than their competitors do, even though nothing is moving. My husband said craft beers are selling a lot more and they can't keep Miller in stock because it's a preferred replacement. Too bad my husband's not on commission. :'(
I hope they keep doing what they're doing (panicking, flip-flopping, begging, spending more money on more attempts to fix the situation, making more dishonest "patriotic" commercials, >$20 rebates).
Not to trivialize what it would take to do so but if he shares the values of his community he should be standing with them and find another avenue to get his fleet back to full capacity.
I don't believe for one minute that there was only one can made. But, even if that happens to be true, they put the face on the can, they made it the "face" of Bud Light. I also do not believe that they're looking at a simple "boycott". I think that what they're seeing is a complete and total rejection of the "WOKE" propaganda being spewed and poured down the throats of everyday patriotic Americans, who are sick and tired of it. I truly feel sorry for the distributors, most of whom are local hard working small business owners that have been betrayed by a global conglomerate that has completely lost touch with it's customer base. I hope that the distributors seek legal recourse and awarded a just recompense.
Wonder if the snarky bitch ceo they hired has left her house since. She killed AB and all of their local reps with one pedophilic decision. Her family and friends must be so proud.
These companies are being told that if they don't do as they're told, their ESG rating will be damaged. I think there was another hammer as well; don't remember what it was. Regardless, they all need to say NO. It's obvious that the CEOs of all these companies are weak, spineless, and have no integrity whatsoever. Why would anyone want to do business with people like that? What they're agreeing with, pushing, is demonic.
I think the thing that is most troubling is the fallout to those who are the distributors. They cannot just go get another brand or line. This company employs 100 people in their area of AL. I really feel for this owner. What’s wrong with showing family gatherings with friends and their kids enjoying a sunny afternoon playing corn-holed or softball. Isn’t that real life in America? The less than 1% trans population going to a drag show is not. I don’t drink bud light anymore I’m more of a craft beer small brewery beer drinker. However I could give a pass (AB owns modelo, karbach, and Stella too) if they decided to change their tune on this BS! I really do feel for the distributors who have been hit hard with their sales numbers because of an idiot marketing exec.

It will never be ok to drink a bud light. Unless the person is a tranny.
If they use the ad money to fund the destruction of the transitioning kids movement I will give them a pass.
The survival of the kids has to come before my anger.......
And their is about zero chance of that.

Pay a legitimate penance. Get forgiven.
Nope. They need to be done, finished, caput!

“The voice of the consumer has been heard, and Anheuser-Busch has taken action.”
No they didn't. Not even close!
Right! "It was one can that was printed", One can? The dude had at least three in the video!
They also knew damn well that the person that got the can was going to advertise it on his very public channel.
They still get more placements in stores than their competitors do, even though nothing is moving. My husband said craft beers are selling a lot more and they can't keep Miller in stock because it's a preferred replacement. Too bad my husband's not on commission. :'(

This is great.
AB should make it right for him, not the consumers.
Local distributor, collateral damage. Yes the parent co should make these people whole.
Reduce to begging.
Not to trivialize what it would take to do so but if he shares the values of his community he should be standing with them and find another avenue to get his fleet back to full capacity.
Yes. He should sell another brand. Microbrews.
Take Target down the tubes with you!! What other companies? Levi's??
NorthFace is next.

Never clearly addresses.
Did they pay Dylan (or a company who then paid Dylan) money to make that post?
"Not an advertisement." No joke. It seems to have been an attempt at viral marketing.

FAFO. You know our terms.

They are empowering the ESG rating system by abiding by it.
For SURE.
Now AB is pushing hard with Harley Davidson ‘special edition’ cans.
And the horses are out in force and the county fair with normal men and women at a concert.
Nope, A-B made their bed, now they can lay in it as they tank.
