Nope! They'll have to pry my maters and okra from my cold dead hands...after they wade through a pile of hot brass.
Yuck, I doubt they'll want the okra... You can throw that at them, and while they're cleaning off the slimy bits you can aerate everything. Good for the soil.
Okra is pretty good in gumbo.😋
Pickling makes it palatable.
Yes, I’ve had pickled okra too I don’t mind the vegetable but I can understand why some people don’t like the slimy texture. Now Brussel sprouts, that’s a whole new other animal 🤮
I'll trade you okra for the Brussel sprouts. I've got a recipe where you crisp the sprouts up in a cast iron skillet with bacon and pecans and it's chef's kiss
You can wrap it in collard greens and deep fry it and smother in spicy sauce, right next to other slimy stuff like snails and sea urchins and brains. I've tried, honestly; just can't handle that texture.
🤣
Love my fried okra!!!
They are going to shit a brick when they find out about the pigs and goats in the woods behind the vegetables......
Are you fucking kidding me. Are people really stupid enough to do this without seeing the bigger picture of what they are REALLY doing.
Before you reply - Yup, there are a whole lot of stupid people out there.
Yup.
smh
This is from last year
Register your garden, comrade!!! Big brother wants to know if you are eating party approved food!
C’mon people. We can’t have just anybody out there growing assault vegetables. Registration will keep dangerous gardens out of the hands of those who shouldn’t have access to them. Next thing you know people will have potato guns all over the streets. Then what?
Ah, spud guns. With depeted brassica ammo?
Well if USDA says so they must be right. Always trust government. To fuck up a free tater.
When the starvation times come they want to know whose food they can confiscate under the pretext that we all have "to pitch in together." It is to communize your private preparation.
Uh no
