Getting your period means welcome to womanhood. If you are impregnating s young woman who has a period but is not of legal age you’re a criminal and hiding your crime shouldn’t be so easy.
Now that you point that out, I wonder how many pregnancies are the result of a crime. Although, I don't think an 18 yr old making it with a 17 yr old should be a crime. Maybe not acceptable, but not a crime.
The first case they touted as someone not being able to get “reproductive care” was a 10 year old that needed to go to another state due to a rape via incest pregnancy. This is why they want abortions at will. It’s actually a huge problem and planned parenthood does not inquire when minors come in for procedures.
As far as 17/18 year olds, when you’re 17 and get pregnant you should have to have a parent or legal guardian with you for the procedure. There should also be extensive information shared on the risks and realities of what the procedure does to your body. They never mention postpartum depression or hormonal imbalances. That you body will react as if a miscarriage occurred and what that actually means. They treat like lasik at the mall and that’s so far from the case.
I’m saying once you have your period, you are capable of having children and that is what has traditionally been known as “entering womanhood”. I also stated that is why the laws in place need to be enforced. If a 12 year old gets pregnant many questions need to be asked, like who is the father? Not, where’s the closest abortion shop?
Here is a though BO. Why not use birth control, insist your partner also us birth control=double protection, or abstain. If you have sex, expect that there may be a pregnancy. Be responsible, it is possible. Whatever happened to the illegality os selling body parts. Planned Parenthood ignores that and gets away with it.
If it was a "constitutional right" then the Supreme Court could not have "done away" with it. There is no constitutional right to have loose sex and then hire a doctor to eliminate the consequences of that behavior. There is no constitutional right to have a fetus terminated as if it were a consumer service. Women can choose, they can choose what kind of birth control they would like to use.
Abortions should be managed like organ transplants. The hospital should have to assemble a panel of doctors to review the case, and only if it's actually medically necessary can it be done.
I love how this administration comes to "swift and strong" action when the supreme court passes laws according to the constitution. The fentanyl or border crisis.. just following laws that already exist? I guess we ran out of "swift and strong."
Girls shouldn't be thinking about anything but learning.Let kids be kids. Make sure they are proficient in the basics: reading, writing, arithmetic, science, music, cursive. The last thing that should be on anyone's mind when going to school is sex and anything to do with sex.
