Well, that does serve their purpose. Ukraine just spent 15,000 lives and likely 1-2x that in wounded in their great counteroffensive. In two-and-a-half weeks, they made absolutely no progress, never even reached the first of three Russian lines of defense, and they've spent their entire force. At one point, they were losing $100 million/day in military hardware that was being blown up. NATO can't replace it. They don't have it to give and they can't make more because they've de-industrialized in the name of "green" worship. The last thing they want to be talking about is how Russia now has essentially free rein to take whatever the hell it wants from Europe and there's not a damned thing any of them can do about it.
