I remember this post very well, and in fact have quoted it several time in the past. I pray that it's true, because the LAST thing America needs right now, no matter how good it might make some of us feel temporarily, it would ultimately ruin this nation for a long time to come. The weapons Americans have right now are far more numerous and lethal than either side had in the American Civil War 1860-1865. And we keep buying them in the millions, breaking records with each passing year.

I know America is gearing up for something, and I hope it's merely to safeguard our neighborhoods and homes if things get a little spicy. I'd much rather see a surgical strike by the military in Washington, DC, and all the bad actors rounded up in a massive sweep.

I dunno....was a much different atmosphere in 2018 than it is now in 2023. Time will tell.
