I graduated with an BA in global business and the #1 skill that helped me get good-paying jobs working for IT project offices was knowing Microsoft Excel and doing the higher-end formulas like IF/MATCH, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF. I was involved with recovering millions of dollars in lost revenue and all I really needed was Excel skills to juggle spreadsheets without screwing them up (like my coworkers sometimes did). The only thing my degree helped me get was a job teaching English in Japan for the Japanese work visa requirements.

The 'middle ground' always seems to be missing.

When a male problem child 'needed whacks'....these paddles were given to a specially requested teacher, often a coach, who had the motivation and paid attention to detail in technique of the swing, which included a nice angling of the paddle to give a double 'clip' to the whack.
