I think that a PCP will try to find at least one medication that they feel is necessary for you to take so that you have no choice but to have 3 month followups in order to get refills on that script. Ever since they began pushing the jab on everyone, frankly, I've lost great respect for my physicians....they complied with what their practices/insurances dictated based on what the government was demanding even when they KNEW the jab/tests were for emergency use only and STILL when they know the claims of it's usefulness are unfounded. I felt belittled and bullied every time I said 'NO'..... got the eyeroll over ivermectin. Now that we know the truth, I'm not hearing any apology from them and I'd love to confront them about it. Shame on them.
Yep. In order to get my migraine meds (I only take when I get a migraine, and THE only prescription I take), they held it hostage unless I came in for a yearly physical where there could do basically a high power sale on vaccines.
That is bizarre. I worked as a pharmacy tech during college and had to learn about this type of thing.
Unless it's a Schedule 1 or 2 (and possibly 3) drug (morphine, Vicodin,.etc...), you shouldn't have to go back for refills that often. For maintenance drugs, (those taken regularly and long term, like blood pressure meds or arthritis medications) a prescription should last for 1 year.
And Schedule 1and 2 (and possibly 3) drugs need a new prescription every month.
Maybe it's some whacky law that only applies to certain states. Could you tell me what state you live in? I would really like to figure out why that is happening.
When Trump was officially in office he got them to crak down on anything addictive. Many of the homeless that I have talked to are addicted because of starting legal drugs, then getting cut off. It was way too easy to get a script for Vicodin. It used to be every time I left the dentist I had a script for 30 pills. I saved them in case of emergency and the last one I took was from 2012, it worked just as good as the new ones, I took it in 2020.
Ok. Not sure how this relates to what I was talking about, though.
I'm in Ohio. I am asked to return for a 'follow up' visit every three months for blood work to check my A1C as well as other levels, liver/kidney function, blood pressure, etc., in case there is a need to adjust or change a medication. There is some flexibility on scheduling these followups, but I've never 'tested' the doctor on this to see what would happen...although my son had trouble getting a BP refill without a upcoming scheduled appointment and, of course, absolutely NO flexibility for Schedule 1 or 2
No surprise to me unfortunately. The problem is I've been weighing up removing a toxic medical product or continue suffering the problems it causes. And the reason I've struggled to remove it for possible health improvements is knowing how farked up the medical system is. I'm honestly surprised I'm still here after my last hospital stint
Depending on your condition and what the pharmaceutical you are taking, do some researchers into how they developed that drug. The majority of the time, there was a source herb, plant, extract from a traditional medicine that was analyzed and synthesized by pharma. Typically, the synthesis is incomplete with them missing inactive ingredients of the natural medicine that augment/mitigate/balance the active ingredients to perform better than the synthesized version. The only significant advantage to lab created medicines is the precision of dosing. Other than that, it doesn't have much going for it.
Unfortunately a medical implant. Not meds
Sorry, I didn't think about implants. That one is a bit tougher to find a substitute.
Example= Valarian root is where they get Valium
Doctor: Statins lowers your cholesterol.
Liver: I will create more cholesterol when it is low.
Me: Is cholesterol good or bad? Is my liver trying to kill me? Should I trust my doctor?
Oh yes--cholesterol was the first wake up call for me and this big Pharma trap. I read a book called ,"The Cholesterol Myth". My doctor about went nuts when I didn't take statins.
Ok, and then get out of all debt, and start investing in things that produce passive income so that you are not trading time for money.
If twitter doesn't let you see the video, Dr. Dhand has a youtube channel too, where this video and a lot of other good ones are posted.
Cant see the tweet. I get "something went wrong. Retry" . Do I have to have an account now to see twitter?
Seems to be the case now.

Hey thanks Greekish!
Elon said they were doing some temporary stuff to weed out bad actors.
Never really understood how people can trust without reason and confirmation over time.................
That is because people often fear of making their own decisions in their lives. So, many feel at ease when someone makes a tough decision for them.
Logically I can understand that you would defer to an "expert" when it comes to a tough decision you are not familiar with.
But as we learned with the 2020 plandemic these "experts" know as much as an average joe on the street.
I have set my own broken bones with absolutely no problem; I do everything I can before I go to a Dr.. I did go to a Dr. that did what he said, I was rather shocked at him really listening to my problem, he then gave me a natural estrogen shot once a month, he ran his drug rehab clinic, giving IV's of all sorts of really helpful things. Chelation, vit C, people came from as far as Texas for his treatments. He died of kidney failure with no symptoms beforehand. My whole family went, and only 1 had an addiction issue. Having a Dr. that listens makes a world of difference.
