There was a ton in my neighborhood. A good sized Latino population around me, lots of hard working, proud, conservative catholics, the rest is a mix of 'wasps' and suburban rednecks, liberals and conservatives, and religions.
Not to stereotype, but the Latinos I've gotten to know don't really need a reason for fireworks. BBQ? Fireworks. Birthday? Fireworks. Coworker's brother's daughter's Quinceañera? Triple fireworks. They're happy to celebrate patriotically, flags and fireworks and all.
The progressive liberals who hate the USA could learn a thing or two from my Venezuelan neighbors. They escaped the chavistas after their father was kidnapped, beat, and left for dead by Maduro's thugs. They love this country, they love Trump, have gone from asylum seekers to having green cards and citizenship is in the works. They know the hell of living under oppression and communism. They DON'T want it here. The fact some people DO seems absolutely insane to them.
A hard working patriotic American is just that: American. All other sentiments are secondary.
Not alot of fireworks in the neighborhood this year. Whole lot of shooting going on instead. Folks are mad and you can feel it in the air.
interesting.... we were on the lake and were the only ones lighting anything off except for ONLY 1 other house that let up about 10 items and that was it!! in previous years it was a fireworks "battle"... back and forth booming and banging.... this year it was sooooo depressing.... but our families still had a great time regardless... bidenomics is sucking the life out of those that let it happen. we're accumuluating some good stuff for 2025 when we have Trump back and the country on the mend...

Unless I'm not understanding your question,I gotta say ,you have to ask? What are we celebrating? It's not to hard to find history books that explain the sacrifice made. Brian Kilmeade has great non fiction historical books out, or even Hollywood has played out documentaries, do a search for (Turn)
