I believe the last straw for Putin and Russia was when NATO wrecked Libya and killed Gadaffi. NATO had become an instrument of war, not a defensive pact. I think it was then that Russia put their preparedness for dealing with U.S. - NATO into hyperdrive. And this preparedness has allowed the success we are now seeing in Ukraine.
What I am suggesting is that the ability of the cabal to off the good guys has diminished to the extent that a well protected guy like RFK jr. is probably safer than he was.

So he kept hitting Japan with sanctions and tarriffs and providing their enemies with war stuffs enough to piss them off enough that "they made the first move." FDR and the DS knew the American citizens would get behind "hitting back".
That's what they are trying to do now: provide weapons against Russia so Russia will hit us and "we will hit back with every US citizen's full support."
