My cousin was 19 and got 10 yrs Federal for talking to a 17 yr old online and sharing pics.
I was threatened with jail for statutory rape when some cops caught me humping in a graveyard once. When they got our ID they backed down since she was 18 and I was 17. I didn’t feel like I was being abused by her but according to Oprah that’s a sign of a good groomer.
I remember a neighbor when I was a child hated her daughter's boyfriend, which was almost a year older than her (the daughter babysat me and my siblings). Once he turned 18, he got arrested for involving with a minor. The mother threw the whole book at him.
Don't know how he got, but I remember her statement hoping he got life.
Once there was a man campaigning on the sidewalk for circuit court judge who asked me for support. I asked what he stood for and he said he is not supposed to have too many personal viewpoints as a judge but one thing he is interested in is enforcing laws on statutory rape.
I told him that is good but it better not be throwing the book at a 19 year old who went with a 17 year old while letting serious child abusers go free when they give their little freemason sign or whatever. He just stared open-mouthed in total shock. He did say there was some kind of program to alleviate the former situation but didn't say anything about the well-connected ones I mentioned.
5 years could very well be a death penalty. Inmates don't like child or woman abusers. But they especially don't like kiddie fuckers. If he goes to the same prison you or me would go to, his asshole is gonna get wrecked for a while before they off him.
