This makes even less sense than most libtard utterances.
If you believe all land is stolen from Injuns, then giving it back to them would at least be consistent. Giving it to blacks is like stealing someone's car and giving it to your deadbeat brother instead of returning it to the owner.
I hope everybody saw this was from January. 2021.
Agreed. I predict that they will be one of the first large companies to go full on bankrupt. They can't survive these losses for long. Just look what happened to Target and they're freaking huge which makes it easier for them to absorb the losses for a short while. Ben & Jerry's is not that big. I also find it ironic that they support all of this woke crap when the side that they're supporting wants to get rid of cows. What do they plan on making their ice cream out of if there aren't any cows to make the milk?
Soy milk ice cream would be fitting for them, and their customers.
I forgot about that because I don't touch the stuff. ;)
They'll make it out of crickets and cockroachesike like everything else. Call them "Ben and Jiminy's."
First I laughed at "Ben & Jiminy's", and then I realized that you're probably right. Man, things are really messed up right now.
They are prepping us for when the aliens show up. They will claim humans "stole their land" and will need to be cleansed from the earth as reparations
Completely ignoring the fact that generations of black former slaves possessed one of the most valuable life skills- farming, and had it all stripped away by the democrats who moved them into their big city vote harvesting plantations.
The lack of black farmers is a democrat created problem, not a racism issue.
Great comment. You're absolutely right.
That worked out so well for Rhodesia.
... and now, South Africa ...
Aren't they on Indian land?
Local tribe said they would be happy to have their land back.....
Yes
Stolen my ass, my grandparents and parents paid high dollar for the farms they owned and ran. Then to top it off all the money my siblings and I pay out yearly on the properties taxes because they just didn't get enough when the land was purchased to begin with. Fuck Ben and Jerry's!!!!!!!
Ben and Jerry need to lay off the bud light...
Go woke and go..............
The same could be said for ice cream makers. No? Perhaps take their business with no compensation?
I don’t eat that crap anyway. Screw you ben. You too Jerry!
1.7% are black farmers. Hmmmm, seems a little on the light side. Guess not too many blacks want to plant cotton nor pick cotton. I wonder why? BTW, does Ben and Jerry live in huge houses? Maybe they can share a bedroom or two with a down and out black farmer, you know to make up for past discrimination.
Ben and Jerry's wants black cotton pickers. kek
Found a bit of interesting info. In April 2000, Ben & Jerry's sold itself to British multinational food giant Unilever. Dave Stever was appointed new CEO on May 15, 2023. Earlier this year NYT said the company was using child workers in its supply chain of a farmworker-led human rights program in 2017 named Milk With Dignity. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/25/us/unaccompanied-migrant-child-workers-exploitation.html https://www.sevendaysvt.com/vermont/former-ben-and-jerrys-tour-guide-dave-stever-is-its-new-ceo/Content?oid=38343650
"We don't believe that, as it relates to Ben & Jerry's, the reporting accurately reflects our dairy supply chain; to that end both Ben & Jerry's and Migrant Justice have asked the New York Times to clarify the specific references to Ben & Jerry's in their reporting," the response said. "To date, The Times has declined to do so." https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:S-Hv0Uz1pgoJ:https://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/story/news/2023/03/24/ben-jerrys-denies-claim-child-labor-is-used-in-vermont-supply-chain/70044681007/&cd=9&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
From Migrant Justice's website: There are approximately 1,500 migrant workers that sustain Vermont's iconic working landscapes and turn profits for Ben & Jerry's, Cabot Cheese and other famous Vermont brands. Workers typically work 60-80 hours per week and endure extreme isolation, often without a clear sense of where they are and are systemically excluded from many worker and housing rights protections. Farmworkers are highly dependent on employers to meet their fundamental human needs. Many farmworkers work near the highly militarized northern border and live in fear of racial profiling practices of police, border patrol, and some community members, which together converts many into virtual prisoners on the farm. Additionally, dairy is a notoriously difficult industry where large profits from milk products are not redistributed fairly to farmers. Due to this systemic marginalization and industry conditions there is downward pressure on farmworkers' wages and many experience human rights abuses. https://migrantjustice.net/about
So, the government should steal land from people. If the government does it it is okay? Is that the statement?
Govt owns lots of land, they should give that back first.
Then we can buy it.
Wait. Do stolen goods usually go to another? Or do they need to go back to the owner?
So why not gove the confiscated land to indigenous people?
To keep the Blacks on the DemonRat Plantation....

that cant be real can it.
So basically, screw the Native Americans. Silly Socialists.
It's pretty telling that they aren't asking the land be returned to the people it was taken from, but given to a third party. I guess in the identity politics hierarchy black >> indigenous.
Isn’t that what happened in South Africa? Purkiss80?
Zimbabwe anyone?
Now we will act like South Africa?
