It doesn't say the body was found "naked". It only says the clothes were found separate from the body. He may have worn swim trunks under his clothes and took his clothes off when he went out in the water.
If we think about it as a whole, we know he was found in water only 100 feet from the mansion where he likely had his own wing or suite in their 7,100 sq. ft. residence to use when they were there and he was preparing all meals for the family.
If he had intended to paddleboard, why would he walk out to the water in his clothes, take them off and leave them on the ground and get in the water in his skivvies with someone else? Why didn't he just walk out there in his swim trunks if he was off the clock? The house was quite close. It makes no sense.
I can only see this potential scenario:
He was injured or knocked unconscious on land, but then taken to the water to create a drowning scenario. But, he was fully clothed when he was injured/killed and they realized at the last minute that paddleboarding fully clothed would throw up red flags. So, they took all or some of the clothes off, and laid him on the board and pushed him out there, allowing his body to fall off and sink.
And, I found this:
" A cadaver in the water starts to sink as soon as the air in its lungs is replaced with water. Once submerged, the body stays underwater until the bacteria in the gut and chest cavity produce enough gas—methane, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide—to float it to the surface like a balloon."
And the main reason this is open to speculation is because the investigation is being performed secretly, or is it? The investigators leave all this open to speculation by not putting some facts, not all pertinent facts, out in the open. Everything is done in secret, why-because it involves the Obamas if only because the man was their personal chef. So get some facts out and keep the pertinent facts close to the vest so when they get a suspect (and they may already have one) the suspect can tell them what was not reported in the "news media". And the media makes this case larger than it may need to be or it may actually be larger than it is. We are all being manipulated.
And all of their stonewalling and not being forthcoming only attracts more attention and scrutiny! Either they are really stupid or they must know what their doing and therefore it serves a purpose. What is the purpose? Look here, not there. But, we anons know to look at all the shananigan and FFs.
Many people including myself will wear swim trunks under my clothes if I know I am going out into the water. It's a lot easier than having to take all of your clothes off, including underwear, just to put on your swim trunks. It avoids having to get naked. Most people, including myself, will take off their outer clothes and leave them at the designated place on the shore line before going into the water. He was at a private residence, so whatever valuables he had in his pant packets were relatively safe from theft. This is not always so at a public beach though. This is my interpretation of his 'clothes were found separate from his body'.
Maybe if you have a private beach you would do differently.
OR - The police reports have said Barack and Mike were not on the property, and a female called 911. Notice they didn't say "The Obamas" - they were specific. Weren't Sasha and/or Malia in town then?

I'm older now, but, I still giggle like a 10 year old when I fart. I can't grow out of it.
Hercules... Hercules...👏👏👏
My only point was no where does any of the reports say he was "naked". Beyond that is speculation.

You are correct that the word 'naked' was not used. I included Tom's specific wording in my title.
But think about it. If the deceased was found in swim trunks, why would they say his 'clothes were found separate from his body' ?
Maybe he just had his skivvies on.
He might have, or not...
We clearly need more details to know for sure.

Yes, people regularly undress in the ocean.
No doubt he had swim trunks.

They look like the party type: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-12437709/Malia-Sasha-Obama-enjoy-wild-night-Drake.html
This has crossed my mind as well. Could be?
Do you mean they remove their land clothes in the water..... Removing your land clothes before going in the water makes sense.
my clothes are always on shore nearby when I go in.
