Pay them, promise them bail / lawyers if caught, give them all a time and location to light.

See, that's a good question. Coordinating 79 people to commit a crime is extremely difficult without someone spilling the beans before it happens, unless they were specifically ordered to do this by someone higher up.

The speed of the arrests (I heard this a few days ago) is an interesting data point in all of this.
Like they had all of their comms and were actively watching these peeps, as opposed to some cops catching the odd dude in the bush with matches.
