Where are the Navy hospital ships? Where is the National Guard?
Hospital ships - do we have one in the Pacific at the moment? If not it could take quite a while to get there.
Some Guard is there but they need more. If the governor wants to steal their land I don't see him calling up more HI Guard or asking DOD for other state Guard units either.
As much as I dislike this idiotic administration, I think this is 99% a state issue. They made it, they broke it, and unless they make a request they will either fix it or take advantage of it. Remember, there were times Trump wanted to send the guard into places like Portland but it wasn't his call. It was the governor's.
