New Report Suggests Roughly 60% of Americans May Be Gun Owners
By: José NiñoAccording to a report published by the Washington Examiner, roughly 60% of Americans may be gun owners. AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News noted that this represents an “increase of approximately 25 percent over numbers widely reported heretofore.”...
I don't have any guns
boat accident?
Amnesia.
Me either 😉
What’s a gun? I’m not a gun smith so have no clue.
Lots of people inherited guns, from their grandparents or whatever, and own guns but don't even consider themselves gun owners.......
I'm a felon, can't have one. But, how many friends do you know that have more guns than they could possibly need for 10 lifetimes? And, it's more like >65% of the world's guns are owned by Americans.
It's bs you can't own a firearm. Personally, I think the gun laws are unconstitutional. If you are out of prison, you have every right to defend yourself with a gun. I believe when we are fully restored to our Republic with all of our God-given rights, these laws will be wiped.
I did some stupid shit and accept the consequences. It don't mean anything about how I can shoot and know where to get a gun readily. Just words with leverage I'd rather NOT get into. Fact is, I tell my friends that I'm not really interested in them because I'd probably shoot someone and they drop it like you should, too.
If you're married your spouse can own guns. (assuming he/she is not also a felon).
Ask G. Gordon Liddy..
Can't you still own a cap and ball revolver?
First, if you were twenty-one or younger or indeed, any age, you can make a “plea for relief from disabilities”. This will restore your civil rights, including voting rights.
Second, wait a while. The Supreme Court has been a hotbed of second amendment cases lately and slowly, bit by bit, the illegal overreach of executive branch agencies is being struck down.
76% have access.. there are a lot /:hidden:/
I dont think people understand the vast quantities of legacy weapons out there. These are weapons handed down through the generations with no documentation. States like Michigan and Wisconsin with a strong hunting/outdoorsmen tradition are full of them. So are the frontier States. Any family that has lived in these places for a couple generations or more has at least one. Id bet there are at least as many of these weapons as guns that are documented. And dont discount the huge uptick in archery sports over the last 40 years where now you have crossbows that fire bolts nearly as powerful as a gun at 100 yards or less but almost completely silent. They may be harder to hide but they are just as deadly. Here in Michigan if you are a hunter you probably have multiple guns along with a compound bow, a crossbow and maybe even a recurve. Probably have a 50 cal muzzleloader too.
Lol. I'm actually surprised the left actually realized that many gun owners don't report ownership at all. This is common practice in states like CA with red flag laws. As a rule of thumb, people are actually advised by attorneys to deny firearms ownership for hospital/medical visits because of rampant abuse by medical staff in reporting and police taking guns just to take them. Those mandatory little sheets you fill out at every medical visit in CA (Do you own a gun? Is there a gun in the house? Are you a victim of DV? Are u a danger? Ect..) are where anti gunners get their stats. When people rapidly discover via word of mouth that the system is rigged, they stop providing info voluntarily. There is also a large swath of people that don't seek help because the risk of losing rights is guaranteed.
Wasn’t there a ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ thing that was important awhile back?
That's the "find out" part of the popular saying.

I (theoretically, of course) have weapons. This is my weapon, this my gun (tug tug). This is for fighting, this (tug tug) is for fun.
Some people got their guns 30 or 40 years ago and haven't been shooting in ages just so they can stay under the radar. Just speculating.
