Also I think the sun is the best form of getting Vit D. Sunblock can block the production of vitamin D in the skin I don't trust much from the FDA or health "experts" now days. Maybe skin cancer isn't even caused by the sun.
Andrew Huberman podcast talked about how scary it was for him to use anything with titanium dioxide. Most sunscreens have it. He said it crosses blood brain barrier. I wish I remembered which episode. Literally everything has TD in it.
My wife started with a new gynecologist late 90's. First thing he did was check vitamin D levels and started her on the Vitamin D3. He does this for all his patients, and she has been on it ever since with levels checked whenever she had blood testing. He is the only doctor she or I have ever been a patient of that had ever recommended that.
My endocrinologist is the same. Only doctor I know that checks all of his patient's vit D levels. He was trained originally in Russia so never became a western medical meat robot. I'm guessing that has something to do with it.
One of the best things my doctor EVER did for me many years ago was to check my Vitamin D levels. It was low...mid 20's. I read several books on Vitamin D to understand everything I could about it. I have settled on taking 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D daily along with a Super K from Life Extension and I keep my Vitamin D level at about 70 ng/mL. You must supplement with Vitamin K when you take D as that puts the calcium it helps to metabolize in the bones where it belongs (just one process D is involved in). There are a few other things that you need to be aware of.
My entire family was tested and we were all in the mid 20's...which is VERY deficient...whether we were outdoors a lot or a little. My husband was also mid 20's and he is always outdoors. I learned that there are people who do not process Vitamin D from the sun efficiently and therefore need to supplement to maintain healthy levels. I don't know if this is a recent phenomenon
or why it happens but I know it is true. Therefore it is essential to test your levels. You can do this through online testing sites or if you get yearly labs from your doctor you can ask to have it included.
Another thing to know is that the FLCCC has recommended that you maintain a Vitamin D level of at least 50 ng/mL to maintain good health and to protect against covid. I will say I can count many noticeable improvements in my health after maintaining my levels at around 70ng/ml. Arthritis symptoms are greatly improved. Vitamin D is involved in many functions of the body so there are MANY, MANY benefits of improving your Vitamin D levels...well worth the time to study and maintain healthy levels.
The masses believe that vitamin D comes from milk. The FDA says 400iu per day is sufficient. Reality is that the RDA is understated by a factor of 10 and should be at least 4,000iu per day. Given the lies that come out of the FDA and the fact that vitamin D plays a huge role in health it would appear that this "mistake" was intentional and still hasn't been corrected or even acknowledged.
It's all one big lie to keep everyone sick and dependent on drugs...that's why I do my own research and read books...not always the internet which is very controlled...
Why can't I buy Vitamin D (Calcitriol) cream without a prescription?
This seems like a way to control essential vitamins that are quickly taken up by the body vs a 7 day wait for D3 to convert to Calcitriol. At least that is what I understood from this X post.
"Topical vitamin D creams, especially those with higher concentrations, are typically subject to prescription requirements to ensure their safe and effective use"
What else is needed? Can you point me in the right direction?
edit - Seems K2 should be used in conjunction with D3 (algorithms show that is a popular result) though I haven't dug into it yet. Comments from others lead me to believe this is what you meant.
I did mean that, but, there may be other nuances to using D3 and K2 that I am not aware of, though if I recommend D3, K2 would be a precursor, in fact timing of using these vitamins is important. You can't just pop a D3 and K2 and hope it works.
Again, not plugging the podcast but Andrew Huberman had a doctor on and she said you would have to take massive amounts of D3 for a long period of time to hurt your heart. I wish I knew which exact podcast. Also vitamindforall.org has a list of docs who said covid was helped with D3 and it has the doctors who signed the petition and their personal dosages.
Bret Weinstein podcast on vitamin d3 as well back around post covid has good info on it.
It’s not even a vitamin. It’s a secosteroid hormone. I will never take that poison d3 and literally turn my body to stone.
The tests for this supposed low “vitamin” d are completely bogus. Oh well, my little mouse voice has spoken and I won’t have to feel guilt about not speaking up
I recently had a brief conversation with someone else who had worked for the CDC and has since left. The Vitamin D theories were being talked about amongst the more rank and file early on. They would try to get the attention of the higher ups but to no avail. The lockdowns kept everyone at home and it prevented a lot of discussion about what was going on. Lot of frustration and low morale.
Yup. I have been taking Vit D K2 since I heard about it on Voat in early 2020 as well as others that are difficult to get these days.
What did they say about it on Voat?

Do you ever get sunburned with astaxanthin?

It said it was good from combating covid.

I should ask mine to test for that.
Quest has a test for this.. Don't need a doc order. Just sign up through site. I had mine done as a fitness package they offered.

I take 10,000 iU of D3 daily for the past 2 years. Never have been sick since.
Oreganol P73. Olive Leaf Extract. Lugols Iodine. Colloidal Silver. On and on. Just maintenance dose ones of your choice.

My last blood test ViT D was in the mid 70’s.

I did not see the other component needed to accompany taking D3 in this twitter post
when the other component is not used, there are bad effects like: arteries get hardened from free D3
the doctor appears to have violated the hippocratic oath of 'do no harm'
do your research and you will live well
What else is needed? Can you point me in the right direction?

By timing, do you mean taking at a certain time of day?
yes, the K2 has to be in the system, I don't know the timing, and what if I was told the wrong thing, then what ?
At least we have some good info on dig on specifically.

50000IU for up to 10 weeks if you are replenishing VitD stores seems to be FLccc reccommendations...so I am assuming safe without worry of K2 needed.
