Have y’all seen The Last Kindom? Trump and the Q-Team’s entire operation has worked like both the Vikings/Danes and King Alfred strategized in Season 1 against each other. That season is like an analogy in itself. The show is closely, historically accurate to the formation of England, though Uhtred and Alfred’s beginning. Part of Uhtred’s early portrayal and adventures are fantasy. But most of Alfred’s life and most of Uhtred’s is based on documented fact. Uhtred’s factual recordings begin in his later teens until his death of his true life, about age 79-80. Yes Uhtred was a real Lord of Bebbenburg, now called Bamburg, in northern England.
If you haven’t seen it, when Alfred becomes King, he faces and defeats the overwhelming odds of the Vikings/Danes to become King. And to assist in holding his Kingdom, he befriends Uhtred of Bebbenburg, a captured/orphaned boy-half-Dane, now a man, to teach his army how to fight like Vikings to defeat them/hold them off, from conquering all the English Kingdoms, or last one, Wessex.
King Alfred is a man of the people, whom did not wish to be King but had to/“asked to”, at the death of his brother in battle. Alfred, unlike other Kings and still historically today, did more for the people than any other King ever, during his reign. Alfred is only 1 of 2 Kings ever given the Title “The Great”.
Now as I said Q/Trump’s Team is a mix of both sides. So the side of the Vikings is how they fight an enemy. The English, taught by Uhtred later, learn the “Shield Wall” technique originally learned by the Danish/Danes from fighting early Rome, forgotten by the long left English Isle peoples. And just for historical info, Rome learned this from the Greeks/Spartans.
In using the Shield Wall, the Vikings lock all their shields from head to toe, and stab through the gaps. This keeps “their casualties light” while inflicting maximum wounding carnage against their enemy, over a period of time to herd them into defeat! They use a “hold” and “ease” technique. When they ease, they coax as many of an army in to start to formate a bent curve or U-shape. They do this several times to gradually let the other side think they’re winning, to gently bend the sides in a position to hide what comes next.
What then happens is the “reinforcements” of their army usually run around or spring from far side hidden positions to then form up a new Shield Wall at the attacking army’s rear flank, boxing them in. The two Shield Walls then march forward squeezing the enemy in the middle, wiping them all out from all sides! It’s a tactic still taught in military schools today. So in turn the Vikings used this to kill Alfred’s brother, the prior King, and how they historically conquered all of the British Isles, minus Wessex. Alfred uses the Viking’s own tactics against them, taught by Uhtred, to save Wessex from ever being formally conquered.
Trump has spent the last 7 years “easing” the Cabal in, and they’re now surrounded totally by the Shield Wall, being squeezed. The stabbing to death is about to come. Hold the Line Patriots! We Will Win!
Where We Go One We Go All, together with God.
Great analogy here Brent. Appear weak when you are strong & then kill box.
I like your thinking.
Yes, but not mine haha! It is the Art of War. ;)
Why reinvent the wheel (idea) when it works kek
Correct! Especially when it’s been forgotten.
I still think the wheel could be improved to be even rounder.
This friction decreased idea intrigues me.... 😜
How many more degrees rounded though? Tighter or wider, or spherical? Kek!
Also note that "shield wall" language was specifically used in Dune (1984) movie to describe the protection from the encroachment of the sand and sandworms into the colonized, "protected" area. I believe this term is also used in the book and it was likely used intentionally as a reminder of how to wipeout your enemies with this tactic per the large amount of other military tactics also discussed in the text.
Note that there is much about psychological warfare in Dune book. A pretty good battle plan for a 5G counterinsurgency of the natives against their outsider overlords, imo. [Frank Herbert is author for those interesting in getting the original to read]
I really need to read that series someday. Many of my friends have suggested it, along with Wheel of Time.
The show is very well done too, just in case you can’t get to the books yet.

I really do appreciate that idea.
Interesting!
That is great. It is very much art of war, but so many pedes are only looking at one aspect (appear strong when weak, and visa versa). This post illustrates another example of what is going on. Starting the hold after the long easy is very visible.
if anyone actually read AoW, they would be astonished at what has been happening. From spy/wet work that is oh so obvious (to us after it is done), to the drying up of supply lines, subterfuge, communications, etc. Reduction in manpower (MS13 being gutted and jailed in other countries).
Sun Tzu absolutely believed that you NEVER engage an enemy until you are certain of the outcome, which if done right, is total victory. He chastized generals who went to battle not having complete confidence in the outcome.
Basically, this means if we are now going into battle and seing the first of the skirmishes, Team Good must have total confidence in the outcome. You know, NCSWIC level of confidence.
The fact things are heating up, and everything seems to be addressable so far, means the battlefield has been predicted and we are confident in our stance. Lots and lots of reasons to not only be Hopeful, but at ease for what is to come.
Good post @Brent75.
Thank you Anon and God bless you.
Loved the Last Kingdom, the whole series. The last one left off with not knowing if Uhtred lived or died. Maybe left it like that in case they decide to bring it back later perhaps or because fans would be upset if he passed?
Interesting perspective on what Trump’s strategy might be.
Uhtred, the real man lived until he was 79 or 80. So they may be letting the actor actually age some before they carry on. But it’s not really needed, unless they wish to show his battles against the Scotts. But Uhred supposedly lived out his later life in relative peace, as Bamburg Castle is certainly way out of the way for the English and Scottish fighting that would follow. And Uhtred had earned his freedom and Lordship/Kingdom after the service of 3 English Kings by then.
Thanks, I hadn't researched if he was a factual person or not, that's good to know that he lived out a long life even after all the battles he was in.

and a reference to The Boss being the keystone [his position in the curve of 'dinner guests']
Yes he does! I totally didn’t put that to mine! Good addition Anon!
Loved loved The Last Kindom! Great comparison. Brutal warfare. Only this, Uhtred was 100% Saxon not half Dane. As a child was captured and raised by Danes. So sorry for the correction, couldn’t help myself.
Well I’m not sure as the Vikings had invaded Northern England and had control of York to the Scottish border which included Northumbria, during King Ragnar Lothbrok’s life, 20+ or so years before. It being a smaller force just to establish a foothold.
The larger more well known Viking Invasion of the Last Kingdom, is historically referred to as the Great Viking Horde. So it’s possible Uhtred’s blood family most likely were half-Danes already. But we can’t be sure as not much of that history is recorded except by the Lothbrok songs/poems themselves. The English Kingdoms didn’t start written recordings of their history much, until Alfred came along and ordered it in each Lordship area and had schools built.
True about the history but I’m referring to the tv series. In The Last Kingdom Uhtred was all Saxon.
Oh yes, sorry. Yes, true in the TV series, but questionable in real life.
Agree :)
There used to be a user named Uhtred here, I thought.
There is a fantastic explanation of this very concept in one of Thomas Wictors videos from 2020. I will try to dig it up tomorrow. He uses the WW2 as an example
Last Kingdom was a great show. Not as good as Vikings though.
This deep🙏🙌🙏💥🇺🇸💥🤔🚫🤡🚫
Excellent post Brent! 👏
Thank you my old friend! :) God bless you too.
🙏
I did watch it and know what youre describing. This is in line with Trump's reference to being in The Pause right now ("hold" or "ease").
Let's call the Q team's initial advancement The Poke. Now, The Pause. And eventually, The Punishment!!
