This is RFK, Jr. saying this and coming from an internal poll. I don't believe that more votes will be taken away from Trump than Biden. The 'walk away' democrats are leaving the party not only because of Biden, but the direction the entire democrat party has taken. How does RFK, Jr. stop that? Trump republicans (MAGA) are the vast majority of repubs. RINOS need not even apply. The independents are already on-board with Trump. I'm not buying it, especially from a Londoner like Joseph Watson.
We do have a clue, we're not flying that blindly, especially those who were reading the Q drops from that fateful day in October --Accurately speaking, we simply don't know every minutia of what is happening. I'll be confident in saying that the real VP pick for Trump won't be revealed till near the end. None of these jokers that even trusted media throws out there will be the VP.
We really don't know RFK's true motive for running. Though, most of these people that run with no intent or chance of winning are looking for a way to sell books/speaking engagements. Running as a (D) obviously means he would be taking votes from Trump if it was a versus election, but admitting that running (I) would do it, infers he was going to ding Trump regardless.

We shouldn't dismiss the possibility that RFK Jr is a deep state plant meant to split the Trump base. I've closely monitored RFK's activity since he rose to prominence during COVID and there are some things about him that bother me:
He speaks at a lot of "far-right" events (ie. ReAwaken America Tour). As such, he has drawn most of his supporters from the Trump base and "conspiracy theorist" crowd rather than the Democrats.
He is raking in millions from mostly GOP donors, money that would've otherwise gone to Trump. Some donors are also GOP Never-Trumpers who donated to DeSantis (failed Deep State plant).
Since announcing his candidacy, he has backpedaled on many of his leftist stances. For instance, he used to be vehemently anti-2A, even going as far as to call the NRA a terrorist group in a tweet. He has since then deleted the tweet and softened on gun-control. He has also backpedaled on abortion and socialized medicine. If he's running as a Democrat, why is he moderating his stances on core Democrat planks to appeal to the right?
It seems that he's perfectly set-up to attract the disillusioned Trump supporters mad about Operation Warp Speed. These are the same people who would've supported DeSantis. Now they'll all flock to RFK jr. That's a good 15-20% of the Trump base.
I'm also bothered by the fact that he endorsed Hillary for senator in 2000 and for president in 2008 and 2016. He's also a hardcore climate change activist who supported the Green New Deal (part of the Great Reset).
Just trying to apply logic here. If RFK Jr. knows that by running as an independent he will pull more votes from President Trump than Biden. And, he chooses to run as an independent, his goal is and has been to hurt Trump and help Biden. But, my gut tells me he will be a non factor.
If they are on the same ticket - that invalidates the hypothesis that he will take votes away from Trump. Regardless if it happens or not - the "stupidly keep pushing" comment is not valid.

I get the same bad vibes from rfk Jr as I did DeSantis. I don't trust him.
Trump never gave RFK a catchy derogatory name, unlike every one of his competitors.
I'd be surprised if Trump doesn't give him one in the future. Giving nicknames is part of Trump's M.O. "Lyin' Ted" is now a close ally.

I am betting that Trump handled over control to the military. I still don't think Trump's "Flood the system" will work.
So something else needs to happen.
