And this. Catholics wouldn't let me join, so I joined Episcopal. They are now pushing transitioning children. I am now Methodist. I understand Methodist's are under pressure to join Episcopals in this satanic ritual. Where does one go next? And don't tell me Baptist because there is no way I will sign up for everyone but us goes to hell. Like the Mormons.
Catholic church wouldnt let you join? Are you a Freemason? What was the reason? If you don't mind me asking. I've never heard such a thing. Did you deny the trinity?
I was divorced, as was my husband. We could join but couldn't participate unless we both got an annulment at $3000+. Almost 50 years ago that was beyond our means. We could, of course divorce again and give up sex, which would have denied my children life. I loved the litergy and loved it at the Episcopal church I attended for 25 years. I have been quite sad over it all.
I dont want to sound harsh. I empathize with your struggle.
So you wanted to join the Church but you werent a believer. Marriage is a sacrament in the Catholic Church. We take the vows very seriously. Marriage isnt a social construct in the Church, it is a vow before God.
Vow - A solemn promise or assertion
Divorce doesnt exist. If you divorce and remarry, Catholics believe that in the eyes of God and Christ you are living in sin, you have broken your solemn promise before God and then tried to make another such promise. Without an annulment, you are not allowed to participate in the Eucharist, another sacrament. Annulment in the Church also isnt just a social construct but requires a declaration that the original marriage had no legal existence.
From wiki:
In the Catholic Church, a declaration of nullity, commonly called an annulment and less commonly a decree of nullity,[1] and in some cases, a Catholic divorce, is an ecclesiastical tribunal determination and judgment that a marriage was invalidly contracted or, less frequently, a judgment that ordination was invalidly conferred.
Maybe the problem isnt with the Church but with your understanding of the Churches beliefs and a Catholics obligations within it. We dont do divorce. A vow is sacred, not to be broken. It is a creeping social perversion and death cult tampering that has led this country to the idea that marriage is disposable. To God and Christ it is not.
That said the Church hierarchy is full of demon worshipping baby eaters who have allowed our clergy to be infiltrated by the same. Bergoglio is a fraud. The anti pope. A construct of the black nobility, just as many Popes before him have been. This has been a long war within the Church. The laity are the ones who suffer.
Archbishop Vigano is a true leader in Christ. There are still men and women of Christ in the Church. My Bishop and my Pastor are both such men.
All of the Christian denominations have thier problems. Those that you mentioned all allow tranny pastors and bishops. All of their charitable institutions, Catholics included, are involved in the human trafficking at our southern border. It is my sincere hope that all these faiths are able to be cleansed of the death cult just as our political, academic, business and media are. I pray for this everyday.
All of that said, I hope you find peace and that your faith continues to lead you towards Christ.
I know this. When I was young, I didn't realize it applied to times before we knew the church. It all hinged on whether we were baptized. Years later I found that the Catholic church didn't recognize mormon baptisms, so we might have swung one annulment. And I know a lot of divorced Catholics.
Look for a church in your area that defied the lockdown’s, if you can find one it probably doesnt take crap from government or Satan. I would love to go to Artur Pawlowski‘s church in Canada, watching him expel demons from his church was an inspiration to me and millions.
Please do not be offended by my tone, I am just a very direct person. I care about you and that is why I am telling you the truth.
We could join but couldn't participate
Yeah you cant take the Eucharist but you aren't doing that now either, so whats the problem?
You can join and fulfill your obligation to attend mass on Sunday. The obligation is to attend mass and not have sex outside of marriage. You are not currently married to the man you live with according to Catholic law. You know this, dear.
You are going to go to hell for eternity for rejecting the truth. The truth is you are committing adultery and refusing to join the Church because its inconvenient for you. You do not have to shell out a dime to join and stop sinning and I also bet there are resources to help pay for an annulment.
Join the Church
Stop having sex with the man you are committing adultery with
Work on getting that annulment (doesn't mean it will be approved but I assume you know the process)
or don't get the annulment and live chaste the rest of your years like Mary and Joseph did
Then after all of that, you can consume the bread of life, the Eucharist
“if anyone eats this bread, he will live forever” (v.51a)
“unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood” (v.53)
“he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me” (v.56)
“he who eats me will live because of me” (v.57)
“he who eats this bread [his flesh] will live forever” (v.58)
Please please please reconsider. We are talking about eternity here. Your heavenly Father loves you and wants to make a future for you. As daunting as it first sounds, I promise you IT IS WORTH IT. God will always make a way for you to do the right and just thing.
Please visit a FSSP and talk with a priest there. No way would it cost $3k.
It might be a few hundred bucks for FEES for processing and 1. I'd pay it for you 2. IT IS WORTH EVERY CENT to be in good standing with the Church and therefore the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Come to think of it, I think you and I have chatted before on here about this. Please keep in touch and I do really hope I haven't offended you with my direct tone. I just don't want to beat around the bush with such a heavy topic, the consequences are huge.
My in-laws are currently in the same situation you are in. It breaks my heart that they are letting an annulment stand in the way of heaven. We have told them so many times it is worth the price of abstaining from sex for a time. My husband and I had to do it to enter into the Church because we were not sacramentally married when trying to join. We lived chaste until we were married in the Church. I don't want sex outside of marriage to keep me out of heaven. It isn't worth it. Please know you are not alone in this problem and there is a way out. I promise it won't be $3k. Talk with an FSSP priest.
I am not catholic but my husband is. I was raised in a evangel church. I believe God loves everyone, we all sin and fall short of glory. Jesus Christ is the way.
I feel like if you pray for discernment, before entering a new church, the holy spirit will let you know immediately if it is not where you should be. I have entered many spiritually dead churches and never returned. I also think eventually we will return to having church in the home like it was originally. Immerse yourself in the bible and ask for Gods guidance, doors will open ❤️
Thank you. I do believe you're right. I felt it in my old Parish, but after our priest left, it changed and when the bishops adopted the cause of mutilating children, I left.
Yw fren, trust in the Lord, pray always 😉 he will lead you to where you need to be.
I understand the differences between the doctrines and what is taught, but I hate the churches are doing this and I know this is part of it. Much ❤️ To u, be blessed today. I will say prayers that u find ur place.

The Catholic church is the one true faith. The Catholic church as a monopoly on truth.
What does your church teach about masturbation and contraception?

Also 3000 seems excessive.

Freemasons have many Catholics
Freemasons have many of everything.
You CANNOT be Catholic and a Freemason. You would be a Freemason pretending to be Catholic.
Go to your heart and inner peace. That’s where I trust the most. If this makes any sense.
Yes it does. Thank you.

Well all is destined for hell if they don't accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
You got to stop joining these cults (i.e. built in separated factions that distort the true gospel of God)
How about forming ecclesiae and study and prayer groups?
