There's a famous Rockwell painting called "Freedom From Fear," which depicts a little girl tucked into bed while her father looks on, holding a newspaper in his hand with a headline about terrible bombings. The AI image with the FBI is the complete inversion of this.
The 1943 painting traces its inspiration back to the 1941 State of the Union address by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, in which he outlined four democratic values that 👉🏼he considered essential to preserve: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear👈.
Ironic to hear that from a Democrat considering things today.
Roosevelt’s preparation of the Four Freedoms Speech was typical of the process that he went through on major policy addresses. To assist him, he charged his close advisers Harry L. Hopkins, Samuel I. Rosenman, and Robert Sherwood with preparing initial drafts. Adolf A. Berle, Jr., and Benjamin V. Cohen of the State Department also provided input. But as with all his speeches, FDR edited, rearranged, and added extensively until the speech was his creation. In the end, the speech went through seven drafts before final delivery.
Nah, freedom of speech and freedom of worship are Constitutional rights. Where do freedom from want and freedom from fear come from? That's the Democrat/socialist noble sounding perversion of our rights.
I see your point, but inasmuch as speech and worship are Constitutional rights, in context he's talking about 'values', wherein, freedom from want and fear are more moral/ethical/spiritual based.
Yes, but don't you see the manipulating of the language? Now, the government has transformed its duty to protect our Constitutional rights, to protecting something so vague and subjective as "values". Values have been married to and equalled to rights. I don't trust that my values are the same as the Democrats' values and the Muslims and everyone else they are intersectionally connected with. I don't want them in the business of protecting "values" as they define them.
Learning from this site mostly, im now always focused directly toward the hands, in these AIs. They can never get the hands right.. but awesome job, and great use of ones AI skills. Definitely worth checking out the article

These are powerful. Thank you for posting
I had never heard of Norman Rockwell until about 10 years ago. I loved the art immediately as it made me feel nostalgic for a time I never knew.
I was around for Norman and he was a national treasure!
Freedom From Want was always one of my favorites as it recalled the Thanksgivings of my youth.
Love ALL of Rockwell's work! Especially his Freedom Series. 💕

Yes... absolutely hard to imagine because they are so different today. I wonder who wrote FDR's speech?
Looks like he had a lot of consultation, but, in the end, made it his own.
Glad to hear this...thanks for the dig fren!

Can't disagree with your argument, you make a good case.
Good point. The Warmer and Fuzzier, the more we should check the fine print.
Damn - that is fascinating and so true. Amazing!
Sad, but True..
"Norman Rockwell-esque" might be a better adjective. None of this captures his distinctive style, which is more than matters of technique.
