I find that rare is the doctor that actually does any research on anything big-pharma. For instance, my husband and I both are getting over head colds (which tested positive as covid). The PA in the docs office offered 1 thing: paxlovid. I told her that paxlovid is contraindicated for people on high blood pressure meds, people with high cholesterol, high triglycerides, etc. She had no clue. I respectfully suggested that she do her own research before recommending any medication.
