Saw an interview of Dershowitz by Spicer in regard to Trump's trials. Although Dershowitz believes the trials are political, he made sure that EVERY TIME he said "Trump believed he won the election", he followed it with "but he didn't". What was particularly aggravating was that Spicer never questioned Dershowitz's contention that the election was absolutely won, fairly and squarely, by Biden!

I'm still wary of Dershowitz after his "We absolutely have the right to pin you down and jab you" mouth-foaming rant in 2020. People can change but I still wouldn't extend my arm out to him, not just yet.
I'm no fan of his, that's for sure! Wasn't he even on the Epstein Island lists?
Yes he was on the list that I saw.
but he left his underpants on during his massage sessions.
Wasn't he involved with getting that sweetheart deal the first time around?
Correct
Not sure about the list but there was an alleged whiff of some scandal IIRC.
Wasn't Dershowitz the guy in charge of the dancing Israeli thing during 911?
^This. 100%. Fuck Dershowitz.
He`s a DICK.
Spicer has a show?
His show is on "The First" a streaming, conservative-oriented, commentary channel.
Thanks! Had no idea Spicey was back.
Seems to me that Dershowitz may have been "reached" out to by forces on the left. As I recall, when he appeared and began opining on the lawfare used against him during his first term, Dersh appeared to be somewhat of a fan, and was sure that what was being done to Trump was unconstitutional and was willing to be his attorney. There hasn;t been any of that in the last 3ish years. I am wondering who's told him to shut up.
Bu we have to realise that the all these election cases against Trump depends on proving that He DID NOT believe he won the election and yet did what he did.
So while its infuriating to see the "but he didn't", he is already making the legal point necessary for people who hate Trump to understand these cases are bogus.
I wish that was the result, but I think it's more likely people will just think, "Well, Dershowitz, an expert in the law, said Trump absolutely lost the election, and there is no reason for Trump to think he won, so Trump is just crazy for continuing to believe he won the election"
The target audience is Trump haters. They dont jump from "Trump is a criminal insurrectionist" to "Trump won the election"
They have to go through stages in between. This is why we have characters playing different roles targeting different audiences in different sleep stages.
I hope you are right. I just wish Trump would tone down his "Trumpiness". I was hoping that would happen right after he got elected in 2016. I can't believe Trump is so stubborn that he won't tone down the childish behavior since it probably costs him AT LEAST 10% of the votes he would get otherwise. We will vote for Trump pretty much no matter what, but the rest of the U.S. population view personal behavior as being more important than policy.
Changing who he is once elected would be a red flag for his base, though.
It's his policies that should be the reason anyone wants Trump to be President. If anyone votes for Trump because of his personality, then they are no better than people who vote for Democrats because of their personality. Stopping clearly juvenile behavior would not take away from what he can do as President. His base is there because of policy, not personality.
Dershowitz was on OJ's "dream team". He was on Epstein's Island too. I do not trust him.
