In 1973 I ate at the McDonald's that was a newer feature on the Champs Elysees in Paris...it was quite novel to enjoy an American pleasure so far from home...what a difference 50 years makes...but much like Coca Cola they are world wide...I am amazed Africa has been spared from McDonald's...
Was the food different there? I was in HK in the 90 and went into McDonald, and their grilled chicken sandwich was excellent. The states McDonald could not compare.
Actually similar...although I know they vary menu according to taste within each country. When I visited Europe I was a very picky eater...but I totally expanded my taste buds after 3 months...it was eat the food or starve...that is why the McDonald's was such a treat...plus it didn't hurt that it was on one of the most famous, beautiful streets in the world...wonderful memories (even if it was a McDonald's memory...🤣...)
Probably is. Not sure of HKs laws specifically. But Large portions of the world have strict regulations and bans on additives, and chemicals in Food meant for human consumption. Due to potential health concerns associated with aforementioned additives and chemicals.
Regulations and Bans that don’t exist in the United States. After Corporations sufficiently lined Congressional pockets.
McDonalds also does vary menu items somewhat between various countries and Cultures.
"It's the little differences. I mean, they got the same shit over there they got here, but, it's just, just, there it's a little different... And you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?"🐸
So don't eat their food, except RARELY. It happens, but make it like a mistake, or something. A Happy meal hamburger has at least 50 additives to make it taste good to the little tykes. Do they need this? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
My sister used to work there so I would eat. There was a science teacher who posted a video about McDonald Big Mac that was dropped underneath the couch. The wrapper showed 2 years ago and it was still edible.

I know Europe banned lots of what we do not.

Yes, Rockies, Sierra-Nevada and the Cascade Range. I think it just meant it's everywhere in U.S, which is true.
McDonald’s, leading the way to obesity in the world!
LOL
Why won't Africa allow McDonalds? Afraid of too many riots within the stores?
There are plenty of McDonalds in Africa. One of them is aptly situated on "Burger St."

And thats even before comparing how many people each of them killed.
This map is wrong because I am pretty sure Russia doesn't have a McDonalds.
Someone from Russia please do tell.
Mongolia doesnt have a McDonalds but it does have an Applebee's in Ulan Bataar
Applebee? Oh wow. Now Applebee's food not bad; at least the Applebee in Texas are good.
Why not Bolivia?
I have no idea.
