When Saturday mornings were something special… Freddie the flute, cling and clang, witchiepoo- don’t forget the Banana Splits! Good times!
🎵 Tra la la, la la la la, Tra la la, la la la la,
One banana, two bananas three bananas, four.
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the Banana Buggy goes,
Coming on to bring you the Banana Splits show. 🎵
Wow. Amazing the things buried way back in the gray ROM.
You have no idea, fren. Kek!
Noooooo that sticks in your head..like the badger song!
Lidsville, Wonderbug, Dr. Shrinker, Bigfoot and Wildboy, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl...
Land of the lost, Speed Buggy, Sigmund and the Sea monsters, Wacky Races....
Tudor turtle Fritz the cat
Tennessee tuxedo
I still remember seeing Land of the Lost for the first time at this girl's house when we were four years old. Afterwards we played Land of the Lost for the rest of the visit and it was so fun.
Speed buggy...great memories!🤗
Saturday mornings were awesome back then.
Tra la la. La la la la la. Tra la la, la la la la.
At least that’s a good one to be stuck on rewind...
Penelope Pitstop...mmmmmm
FUN FACT: The show was filmed in what later became CNN's headquarters in Atlanta. You used to be able to walk into the Headline News studios and over in a corner behind some lights or a wall panel you could see grass or a giraffe head painted on the walls at the top, left over from the old TV show
That's really a pretty cool fact that you shared.
I loved his stuff when I was a kid. I hope all of his Pallbearers will be sleestak.
You mean “pallbearers will be lizard people.” Kek!
My dad used to call me HR Pufnstuf when I was a baby as I had big cheeks😊!
pinch pinch pinch pinch
😊
H.R. Pufnstuf, Who's your friend when things get rough? H.R. Pufnstuf, Can't do a little 'cause you can't do enough
Always cracked me up as a kid when Sigmund would pick up his ringing shell-phone and say "Shello?"
Sort of a fun hello from "Get Smart"
I watched that show every Saturday morning and even had a 45 of this song. Still remember the lyrics.

I loved all three of those cartoons mentioned as a kid. Along with Speedbuggy, Captain Caveman and of course Bugs and Scooby. Saturday mornings Mom and Dad would sleep in and we kids would get our own cereal and plop down in front of the TV for Saturday morning cartoons.
I think every little kid back then did that!
Goofus and Gallant
Goofus and Gallant were from Highlights Magazine. The religious TV show I remember was called “Davey and Goliath”. 🤷♀️
You are correct seen both got confused
That was my worst cartoon! I was a real Casper the friendly Ghost fan LOL. And, of course, The Jetsons. Where the hell are our cars that go above the traffic that they said we'd have by now!! Lol
