He's always seemed like a scammer to me and that's going back to the early days of the Internet when i first heard about him. He comes across as the conspiracy community's own televangelist.
Is he a good showman? Probably. He seems to have made a niche career for himself by gathering up work done by "conspiracy theorists" and making it slightly more mainstream.
I'm kind of surprised he still has any kind of presence anywhere. If I owed $900 million to anyone, I'd be living in a box by now with bigger things to worry about.

Look up what he did to Millie Weaver, one of his reporters, when she out scooped him on who was manipulating the 2020 election in OCTOBER 2020 before the election even happened. He had a large part in firing her and burying her story before the election. Shadowgate I think is her documentary that was later coroborrated in the Time's "yeah we had a cabal that reinforced the election" article.
People trust him for his body of work. In his work, he has exposed many conspiracies. His job was to make sure that these conspiracies never pointed fingers at Israel.
