This poll actually makes me feel a little disappointed. I can’t believe over 40% of Iowa Republicans are either still asleep or prefer returning to the matrix.
yes^ the karens Still don’t like Trump & probably never will. even know one that voted for Trump before & now she likes DeSantis:( they also like Nikki Haley because she’s a ‘strong female’🤦🏼♀️ the people that go to rallies will vote Trump, but then there’s the weather, look at Iowa 511. roads are horrible, hasn’t been this bad in years.

The Dec 13th poll had Trump at 51% to R.D 19%, I hadly think that Trump's numbers have gone down since then.

The Iowa caucus is always "weird" for lack of a better word. I suspect President DJT will not win by as large of a margin as this poll suggests, but I do think he'll win the Iowa caucus (though not the end of the world if he doesn't).
My prediction is that he'll win fairly comfortably, but that DeSantis will do better than expected due to Haley's support not being real and due to this sort of thing usually happening at the Iowa Caucus. There's always a surprise.
And I agree with those posting here that it's depressing to see 40% of Iowa Republicans being asleep. Show me a DeSantis or Haley supporter, and I'll show you someone who has learned absolutely nothing from the last 8 years.

None if this is surprising to me. Trump really is a defacto incumbent in that he's already been president. We know what his policies are.

I'm suspicious of all the reports saying POTUS will win by a landslide because they're probably hoping people will stay home if it looks like he will win by a large margin.

I really do think it's a possibility that the GOP will pull some insane midnight absentee ballot shenanigans and get the impossible result they want. Normie Republicans need a wake up call. To be clear I don't think for a second that it would stop Trump but it would make the fraud crystal clear to even more people.
How about the news headlines that ask, "Will frigged temps daunt Trumps vote lead." I bet more people will are willing to brave the cold to register a vote for Trump than for Halley or DeSantis, or V.
