How people think democracy works and how it operates in reality are vastly different.

Democracies tend to devolve into either tyranny or anarchy, since as soon as voters realize they can vote to take others' property without earning it, the sinful greed rises up and they do it. When elected leaders pull this, it ends up being tyranny. When everyone figures this out, it's anarchy. This is why the Founding Fathers gave us a representative republic. We have not had a true Representative Republic since the House of Representatives was limited to 435 members, the original ratio was 1 Representative to 40,000 voters.
people are thinking "how is it going to change?"...our constitution is considered a perfect document to live freely and fairly by..many countries have adopted it but not in totality as it is here in the u.s...democracy has been highjacking the constitution for a long time now..that stops..democracy has brought u.s. taxes and permits for everything from hunting to driving our roads..that stops...property taxes and the irs robs people of their property and fortunes..that stops...we are headed back to 1776 and this time politicians will not have the power or influence to fuck it up again...the best is truly yet to come..patience and faith is required because our Father who art in Heaven will recieve all the Glory for righting these wrongs bestowed on us by evil in high places make no doubt

A few years ago I started getting in the habit of listening to podcasts at 110% speed and slowly worked my way up to 140% speed.
Not sure if I'll go higher as it starts getting distracting for me. But bottom line, it's allowed me to consume much more information during these times where being informed is so important.
Oh yeah I definitely do this. Typically 125 to 150% speed.
The issue is that there's so much stuff that I've got on my watch list that I need to watch... Mostly my sermons and church-related stuff plus a few accounts that I follow for this type of thing that I really don't have a whole lot more time than I can listen. All my driving and pooping time is eaten up already lol
lol amen brother. Just not enough time in the day to cram everything into our brains that we need. We need the hard info for our brains and we need the sermons for our souls. Tough to find the time :(
