Did you see the "HE GETS US" Super Bowl AD? What was that about? Who funded it?

The funniest comment I saw on Gab today was, "Sorry I haven't posted yet today, I've been busy washing faggot feet".
Anon, please provide links to your information if you have them https://www.nsfwyoutube.com/watch?v=Q-g2WpW43oo
BTW i didn't see the ad, but i know the world is desperate to twist Christianity to justify their sins. Christ's mission was to get people to flee sin, not make them feel better about doing sin.
You are exactly correct.
Thanks I just edited my comment/link. neat service ill have to remember it.
Yes the ad was total garbage. Maybe I can post a link to the original ad too.
There it is

I saw Mark Dice's video that covers his thoughts on that godawful commercial. That was good enough for me.

When I saw the Ad I thought 'well that was odd' but I wasn't paying too much attention to it at the time. Then this great examination came up today on YT and I just had to share.

Just to clarify:
It's a classic case of :
That thing they want being for us to roll over and just accept degeneracy and all the other parts of the agenda. Actually they don't just want it accepted they want it CELEBRATED.
IT's the same inverted humiliation ritual all over again.
He did wash mary magdalenes feet..but not to encourage her behaviors
Uh, Mary Magdalene washed Jesus' feet with perfume and wiped them with her hair.
This.
This is Steve Green's pet project. You might recognize the name because they are the Hobby Lobby people. Also big donor to Oral Roberts University, and The Chosen. Don't ask how I know this, but I've always found the He Gets Us ads very cringe.
washing of feet is a practice between believers. it shows humility, commitment and love to one another. Matt 7 is talking about fellow believers views and perception of each other and cautions against extending such considerations to unbelievers.

Matthew 7:6 KJVS Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Unbelievers need to hear the bad news followed by the good news - that brings them to repentance. We may interact initially with asking if they need prayer for anything, infirmities, oppression etc. then depending on how holy spirit leads and manifests to the person, we'll continue and discuss Jesus (exactly as demonstrated in the book of acts). we would never wash an unbelievers feet.
Thanks and well said. I'm glad you pulled out the Matthew7:6 verse as it sums up the issue very well.
Woke Jesus bullshit is all that was.
Woke Jesus Bullshit should totally be a hard rock band name - upvoted

Not funds by true Christian’s, that’s for sure.
Clandestine posted it was all the liberal wokeness they want to impose on us all.
I believe this was black hat ad to make people think more about their faith, keeping them away from the real truth.
My 2 cents that nobody asked for: Lots of folks roaming around these days looking for something solid to invest themselves into. If this ad made just one of those people curious about Jesus enough to seek Him out then who cares about hidden messaging and context? This ad may have planted a seed. Pray for water and with God's light it will grow into somebody having not only a rewarding and joyful life here on earth but an eternal life spent with the God that gave them life in the first place.
I found it a little disturbing until I thought it through. John 13:12 'When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.' Jesus washed the disciples feet to emphasize that, despite his divinity, he came to serve and they should do likewise. Do ministries that serve food to the hungry only feed believers? Pro-life providers only serve believers? They serve those who are hungry or in need of pregnancy services regardless of their faith or lack of it. THAT'S HOW YOU REACH THE LOST; WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
The washing of the feet is a sacred act - much more intimate and meaningful than serving food or being civil to someone on the street.
When you do something like wash the feet of someone who hates you or openly mocks your morality, or even hates Christ, and then you bow down to them as some way of elevating yourself via public humiliation, it's the ultimate shallow act because it is done for show, more specifically as a show of how virtuous you are.
Jesus would say to have some Pride - if you must wash feet, start first with those closest to you, so that your efforts will be appreciated and by those who love and respect you and whom you love and want to be happy. Wash your wifes feet. Or maybe your grandma, or some old friend who is feeling ill or disabled - all these are deserving of your love and attention, and your time will be invested well to look first to those who form your circle. And it will be done not out on the street in front of everyone but wherever they are, the hospital, nursing home, etc.
What the ad doesn't show is that, while these vile characters had jumped to the front of the line, there were other people who had lived just and good lives and who had nobody to care for them or wash their feet. Wouldn't it be a more just world if the good people were getting the footwashes and not the pukes who would never appreciate it?
Christ washed his disciples feet, not some random people, because he knew what relationships were worth deepening and which ones would never bear fruit. I think that is the more powerful lesson from this parable in my humble opinion. But I see your side of it too.
