In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Y’all have a fabulous week. It’s been a crazy day. Started out great and dwindled down to the opposite. I’m just overly tired fighting this sinus infection. Prednisone is probably making me cranky. My poor hubby has it now. Praying for a better mood tomorrow and I’ll catch up mid week. Schedule change this week with baby sitting. Blessings to all & a happy Monday.
May want to try oil of oregano

Thanks for the link. I’m doing everything except yoga & humidifier. I normally have it here. I let myself run out. I have a small bottle I thought was tincture when I bought it. It might be but seems more like oil than tincture. It’s the strongest thing I’ve put in my mouth. I’m trying to use it because I paid for it. But dang it’s nasty! I might order some tonight. I’m taking things I always take but nothing is working. It’s a very bad virus and lots of people I know have gotten it over the last few months. Some still have at least one symptom.
Same to you sweet Fren! Hope hubby feels better soon. Get rest, rest, and more rest. ❤️
I don't go on Truth Social much, but a few days ago in the wake of the Fanny Willis debacle I was on there and I saw #mankosoysauce trending. "Manko" is Japanese for "pussy." I just saw a bunch of Japanese accounts posting that hashtag with no real information. Does anyone here know what the heck that was about?
Shrinkflation is a real issue for those that want to gorge themselves on fast food. I am only posting this because inflation affects everything.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve saved it to watch later this week.
Okay, don't say I didn't warn you: here's the lamest, stupidest question of the day. I like to ask people to 1) make them laugh and put them in a good mood, and 2) test their math and Latin skills, lol - here it is: If you have a Toyota Prius sitting in a parking lot, and it is sitting next to other Toyotas of the same make and model, i.e. Prius, how do you refer to them, as singular or plural? Is it Toyota Priuses or Toyota Priae? I asked the lady at the pharmacy and she came up with the best answer: "the little cars sitting over there." I spend too much time in front of the computer wondering about shit like this, lol.
Edit: Apparently, if you go to the Toyota website, it is "Prii." Sonofabitch, I did not know that 🤣

I don’t worship celebrities but I will never get over the tragic death of Dale Earnhardt, 23 years ago today. It’s kinda strange I had my near death experience on this day. If you don’t know who he is watch some old interviews and racing videos. I’m happy to share some if you like. I grew up watching racing with my dad and went to my first race in 1981. Then in 88 after marriage my husband and I went to all the races close to us until we had a baby. She was #1 priority. We continued to watch every Sunday with excitement. As a race fan you either loved him or hated him, no middle ground! When he died Nascar slowly died. They still race but has become woke and lost most of the old fans that filled the stands. Dale Earnhardt was more than a driver he was a big influence on Nascar’s decisions and was friends with Bill France the ceo, creator, leader of Nascar. Every thing must end eventually that’s life. I’m thankful he became a Christian before he died.
https://www.sportskeeda.com/nascar/news-why-dale-earnhardt-termed-the-intimidator
I get hating him. There were plenty of drivers I hated with a passion. I never knew how the Earnhardt diehard fans looked to the other fans. Many years ago hubby and I were looking at cars. Somehow we got in the subject of racing in the good days. He said one time at a race Dale wrecked and was out. He looked at turn one and then back to turn four and a huge section of multiple rows of Earnhardt fans were gone. So he started noticing it at other races. We died laughing because we always left if he wrecked out. Had never thought about ever one else doing the same. We met him by accident at Rockingham one day early before the race. If you have never been: it’s one road going to the track. One turn going to parking and under the tunnel. We were waiting to turn to park. It was one lane & it split going to tunnel or parking. Before that we were on the main road in traffic waiting to turn. With only one two lane road and race traffic it was busy. My husband jumps out in front of the 90s style blazers. I yelled at him and said, you just cut off Earnhardt. He thinks I’m crazy and imagining it, couldn’t be him. The airport is across the street from the track. Back then they would drive themselves if needed. The traffic splits and the blazer is beside us. I knew it was him so freezing cold I rolled down the window. He’s beside us grinning that sneaky smile. He said, how y’all doing? I said, you going to win today? He said, hooe so. It was Busch race and he won a lot there. I’m thinking he saw the dale license plate on front of our Camaro. I also think he respect my husband’s driving skills cutting him off. It was a very cool split second experience and a great memory.
I had look up Ayrton Senna. We never followed other racing besides Nascar. I remember a few getting killed but don’t know enough to talk about it intelligently.
Totally unrelated company name I discovered recently:

I’ll try to keep this simple and brief, you know I’m a non professional novelist🤣 I type like I’m talking to you in person.
Very thankful to be alive
Today is my one year anniversary of almost dying of sepsis from 8mm kidney stone blocking my urethra. Didn’t have a clue before the unbearable pain and puking hit me 2/18/23. Thank you to each of you that read my post and offered your kindness, comforting words and prayers. It took several months to sink in and I was surprised I wasn’t in the mindset I got to learn why I’m still here. I’m the sappy type. But kinda weird I didn’t get emotional or feel like I needed to change or figure out why me. I knew the answer as to why I was alive. I had a two week old granddaughter and I talked God’s ear off that I had to be here for her and my daughter. Maybe I didn’t feel like I do a life change because I’m very content with my marriage and family and have tremendous faith in God. Yet, haven’t spent time in the word in way too long. Over the past six months I’ve felt a pull to get back to reading the Bible, learning it and learn how to pray. I’m just starting to read and trying to do study on my own. I’ve been listening to a local pastor online and one on YouTube. Last night I couldn’t sleep. Spent thirty minutes in the kitchen cleaning and asking God to lead me to what I needed in the Bible. Opened my bible I used when I went to church in the 90s. Found several index cards with scripture and notes. The index card said, “when the roof falls in”. Well my roof has been falling for the past 2-3 three years physically and maybe a little mentally getting used to the fact we have been lied to forever.
When the roof falls in
Presence • John 20:19 • Isaih 43: 2-3 • Psalm 34:18
Purpose • Peter 1:6-7 • Corinthians 4: 8-9 • Corinthians 4: 16-17
I took the time to write down each scripture and will start a notebook with this bible study from a great preacher way back then. He’s the best teacher I’ve ever experienced. Sadly for me he moved for family obligations with a parent. I don’t know if I’m ready for a physical church yet but I’d love to find a good Bible study that teaches. Most churches here have so much drama I haven’t found the fit.
Just wanted to share and say thanks. We were going take a day off the diet to celebrate yesterday and go to a great homemade ice cream shop run my NCSU, NC State University, they have their own cows and make the ice cream. Maybe next weekend hubby and I have the crud. He’s just starting and hopefully I’m on the end. Blessings to each of you. We have a beautiful loving family here.
The deep state VS God. Here is a topic many will balk at. Knowing how evil the deep state/cabal is, I put forward that thousands of years ago the deep state created a deity for humans. Now, since many have varying thoughts on religion, the deep state created different forms of religion for humans to follow. Looking at the Bible there is not a complete manuscript of it ever found. Many passages were altered over time as different scribes put their own interpretation into the translation. Constantine decided at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD what books were to be included in the “Bible”. Now I know I am giving a very opposite opinion of the majority of anons here, but we must remember, this is a war of good versus evil that has being going on for centuries with it now coming to a culmination. Many will say the deep state is against the bible, but I feel this is controlled opposition. Just my two cents.
Look into an Interlinear Bible translation. Elohim is a masculine Plural. There are many examples of Bible verses which include both Yahweh and plural Elohim. It’s very clear that Yahweh is Not Jesus’ father.
So who is the good you speak of then..
Who is Jesus Christ
Who is the voice inside you that if you listen will grow you and guide you?
I do not believe in a god. I believe Enki is the creator of mankind. It is all spelled out in the cuneiform tablets.
Ah silly me didn't look at username until just now. Well best of luck with sharing what you perceive as truth. Have a blessed day
Very interesting and I’ve been doing research in a different way. Trying to learn the history in the Bible of pagan religions and God’s wrath on them. Learning about Giants and nephilum. Obviously this wasn’t taught in Bible School or Church. Thankfully the church I attended growing up spoke of Devil often. Before I was saved I knew the Devil walks among us. If you have links or something I’d love learn what you discovered. If not maybe tell me what to search for. Thanks for sharing.
Especially for the Old Testament, there are variations of this view promoted by guys like Clif High, Mauro Biglino, and Zechariah Sitchin. The deity you mention could also in fact be aliens / Annunaki / Elohim. If you are avoiding Christianity, this seems like a plausible stance to take, and there are possible hybrid views as well.
For a Christian perspective, see work by Michael Heiser, https://drmsh.com/
To me the central question is the person of Jesus Christ. Were His self-claims about being the Son of God true? There is incredibly strong evidence for His resurrection, e.g. see Gary Habermas https://www.garyhabermas.com/ The entire Christian religion rides on this, and once you settle this, topics like the canon of Scripture fall into place easier. e.g. The four Gospels are eyewitness accounts. Some try and claim these and other New Testament books were written hundreds of years later, but there is strong evidence to the contrary.
The four gospel by popular opinion were written approximately eighty to one hundred years after the crucifixion. They were written and then translated by scribe who often threw their opinion in. Jesus saying “Father forgive them for they not know what they do.” was not found in parts of the first three manuscripts found, but in a manuscript transcribed several hundred years later. The same for the saying, “ He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone”.
Amen.
Who is Jesus Christ.
When you can answer this question it answers all other things in time and things begin to come to light.
The whole all religions are right stance, that new age believers follow. There is some truth in it. In that truth belongs to Jesus and a religion can have an element of truth and miss out on the fullness of Christ.
You just only ground your belief when you truly accept that still small voice talking to you is Jesus the son of God.
A deep intimate relationship with him is the greatest thing you can ever seek
well yeah of course..the Bible is full of disinfo. How else do you slip humanity the ultimate redpills without filling the rest of the book with a bunch of cuckoldry so they don't notice it?
Ultimate redpill: only two commandments actually matter because salvation is NOT by works. Also, death is not absolute and can be conquered both physically and spiritually by regular men through faith. Confirmation the curse was lifted and religion is a lie.

Saying It Again--It Is Futile To Go Against God. God Wins. My Morning Bible Read Was Acts 5:17-42, "The Apostles Persecuted". Verse 39 says, "But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

Have a blessed day.
"I have chosen to talk about this and have lost friends and family over it. My church shuns me because of it, but I still stand. I truly believe that we are under judgment right now. So many are so complacent. I won't give up for I answer to a higher authority. I believe churches are closing and dying because we fail to apply His word in our lives."
Revelation 3:15-22 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”
Good morning, Sunday morning! 😜
Who’s up? 😳 2:30AM wide awake. When I fall asleep coughing attacks. Feel much better if this dang coughing would leave I’d be back to myself. Takes time. Just made cup of coffee it’s the only thing that helps. I’ve turned into a coffee drinker this year and drinking less herbal tea. Very strange behavior for me. Coffee does curb my appetite. Happy am to the night owls. Going to spend some time with God and if I don’t fall asleep I’ll research how to make homemade house cleaner. Enjoy your Sunday frens🐸
took 3 weeks for me to shake it when I got the ick, never had anything like that in my life. i did lots of saltwater gargles and showers to steam my beat up lungs, took lots of stuff to support the immune system. seemed to help. God Bless.
Well I’m glad you are back on your feet. Same never experienced anything like this. It’s got to be manmade. I have no doubt about that. I did everything I could think of. Usually I can knock out something like this with herbs and supplements. Nothing has helped! And I have an arsenal of herbs. Lots of supplements that normally help. Dimetapp and Robitussin DM did nothing. It’s like it was made to be unstoppable. I know several people that have had same & some symptoms different after six weeks to several months they still have some symptoms. But I’m sure they don’t take supplements like everyone does here. I’ve procrastinated to long. I’m getting ivermectin and might take daily or at least at on set of symptoms. I’m on day 19 and I waited too long to go to the doctor. I’m so sick I had get antibiotics. Yep, had the poison swabs also. I didn’t see any way around it. Just praying and trusting God to protect me from the posion. I almost wish it was in my lungs. I have Chinese medicine herb supplement that clears lungs. I’ve had terrible bronchitis before and it cleared it quickly. Did nothing this time. Dr office did xray on my lungs, I think because my cough was so bad. They could hear me outside the little room. I believe they were sure I had RSV. Nope just bad sinus infection, ear infection (doesn’t hurt) and slight fever. My cough is from mucus at base of throat or esophagus. I start coughing like it’s coming up and it takes leaning over sink like I’m going to puke to get on finger nail size of thick crud. Have slept maybe 2-3 hours every night in the recliner, can’t recline. Thank God it’s comfortable! God bless you also and glad you are better😀
Spring in 30 days 👏☘️💐🪻🌱🌷🌿
March 10 🌅 sunset @ 7:15
I’m a spring baby ready for warmer temps & longer days in the ☀️
Thank You God for beautiful seasons. I’m ready for the next season of the year and with each new season becoming a better person stronger in my walk with Jesus.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
There’s even a song about this Bible verse.
The Byrds: Turn! Turn! Turn!
I'm up early, and your post caught my eye. I remember The Byrds and that song, (yeah, I'm old)!
I saw what looked like an album cover in that video you posted. Being a Gordon Lightfoot fan, I had to check it out.
Came up with this:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wjQphMZn10Q
They say it may, or may not, be Gordon.
This website backs that up.
https://www.discogs.com/release/5078529-Gordon-Lightfoot-Yellow-Bird
This appears to be an unofficial release. I've also never heard of Koala records.
Here's some images of the cover, including the one in The Byrds video:

Thanks for the fun sleuthing on this snowy Sunday dawn!
I’m not a spring chicken. I’ll be 57 in a couple months. Oh, that’s scary saying it out loud. I’ve never cared about age until the past years with health problems I’m struggling to fix. Slowly getting there. I approached every milestone birthday as just another year. Always said, I’m like Jimmy Buffet. I don’t know what I’m going to be when I grow up No matter the obstacles in my head I was still in my twenties. Sure denial but it helped me to have a good attitude about aging. Now it’s scary knowing how close I am to 60. Not to bad though I’ve got some health goals I’m working on to get healthy to enjoy my life.
I’ve always loved that song. 70s is my favorite music era. I’m aware of Gordon Lightfoot & like his songs but don’t know his collection. I should listen to him sometime. Glad you found a new Lightfoot song.
I'm so happy I'm finally going to have Medicare. When Obamacare came out, where I was at you had to work full time to get health insurance, so they refused to give anyone fulltime hours. I think I started counting down the years to medicare at 15!
Gordon has a voice as smooth as honey. One of my favorites is Minstrel of the Dawn.
The 70's is one of the few decades with some great music. I do prefer the older stuff.
That’s great someone that’s worked all their life deserves to get what is promised. I listen to anything from the 60s forward, maybe some 50’s that get thrown into a playlist for 60-70. I was a teenager in the 80s and love the rock music. Listen to old and new country but selective as to who I listen to. Mainly singer songwriters that write amazing lyrics about life. Later Elvis, 70s will always be in my top rotation. Jimmy Buffet has always been a favorite. Right now I’m listening to Red Stray Clays a lot. I jump from one era to another depending on mood. The reason for my username, Moody Blue by Elvis. I chose music daily according to my mood. Led Zeppelin if I’m sad and sad soft rock songs when I’m happy. I know a little extra and crazy. My very top of my list is always in the current rotation weekly. Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, Brent Cobb, Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers (check him out. Has an usual voice and some of the best lyrics I’ve heard). You are going to make me do a deep dive into Lightfoot. I know his music. When it comes on serisxm in the car I hear him and wonder who it is and singing every word. There’s a lot of people from the 70s I don’t recognize but know the music. I’m making a playlist when I hear something old I know. Great chatting. Music is wonderful!
If you have the link to Discord prayer group please share. After procrastination & ready to get started I can’t find the link. Thanks
I am there, as well as some others from here. Welcome aboard.
Not sure if you can see my reply to Slechta5614. I’m not into places with format like Discord and Telegram. With in minutes of signing back in the app multiple friend requests and notifications. I’m interested in Bible study only. It’s too much like social media.
Edit: got more info and looking forward to bible studies. It’s been frustrating day and when that happens I’m off kilter.
It’s all good if you don’t like it there then don’t go. I may be go once every couple days. Just for conversation. But I totally understand. If you’re not comfortable and it’s not your drive, then just move on. 👏👏👏. There’s too many things in the world to be focusing on, and giving her attention to something you’re not interested in. 🤣😂👍
Thanks dear😊 I’ve had a bad afternoon still hacking and didn’t realize how stressed I was until later tonight. I was cranky and snappy. I don’t get in those moods like I used to or like my dad. But when I do I don’t even realize I’m complaining about everything. I went in and took a look. I believe I panicked and saw flash backs of my old facebook addiction. Also I used to follow an alleged or truthful child trafficking victim on Telegram. That was drama city. After reading a few posts tonight seems like a safe place. Thanks once again your guidance💖
Well, whatever you decide, I’ll be supporting you here or there. Get some rest. I hope you have a better night sleep tonight and maybe tomorrow you’ll feel better. We all have our cranky days. Me included.
I know you will be supporting me. It’s been great getting to know you. I appreciate you!
🙏😃🐸

If for some reason the link doesn't work. Please tag me and I will refresh it
I’m in but not sure what to do. moodybluetcb
Sorry just saw the thread posted below. I’ll read that soon.
I added you in so you should see the full server. I welcomed you in the general chat. Let's see if you are able to respond over there and I can guide you if you need further help
Don't be shy asking questions. I am here to help however you need
I’m interested in a bible study. Not sure how that would work. I previously deleted discord and telegram because it’s too much like social media, actually worse than facebook. With in minutes of joining I’m getting friend requests and notifications to things I don’t know anything about. That said, I doubt I’ll be up there unless there’s a bible study. I don’t mean to be rude and unappreciative. I wasted too much time on social media years ago have no desire to jump back in. For now I will keep the app active. I think I’ve changed settings on messages and friend requests but not sure. I think it’s set for only “admin” or group leads, something like that. If you get bible study going just message me here. Blessings and I do appreciate everything you do sharing God’s word and being positive.
We have a Bible study every Thursday at 8pm est and working to create another one. Currently we are studying Hebrews. We have done it for 2.5 years.
Most the dialogue at Prayer Garden is meant to build up the body and grow in discussing the Bible.
I truly appreciate your feedback and feel free to share any in the future.
I am sorry if people overwhelmed you with friend requests and invites to other places. This is most definitely something I agree with you on. Will make sure my team is not involved in that. Can't really stop outsiders.
I encourage you to pray on things and let the Lord lead you. I support whatever you decide..thanks for joining either way and let me know if you need help or have further questions or thoughts
No worries I’m not frail or meek by nature. I can take most anything. Many times I pounce like an injured cat before asking questions that could have helped me out. I’m a product of my raising and just like my dad. It’s one of my biggest flaws. Ask hubby! Apologies I’m a little moody because I can’t handle when I’m not in charge, being sick and can’t control it messes with me. Certainly not making excuses! I’m most definitely up for the Bible study and will set a reminder on my phone. Looking forward to this. I’m ok with your team sending private messages about group content information or necessary information. I’ll pray for sure and I’m not jumping ship. I miss unstood and was shocked at the amount of people on it. No worries, I’m good. Thanks again for everything. You are an inspiration!
I wasn't meaning to come off as if I thought you were frail. I genuinely value the feedback you gave. I think there is tremendous value in it actually. So please feel free to always be open and honest with me. I won't attach judgement to you by any means. Prayer Garden is ever growing ever expanding. So we wanna constantly be aware of all angles.
Yes I hope to see you in the Bible study. I look forward to growing with you in Christ how ever that may look. Feel free to reach out if you ever need a fren to vent to or need prayer
Thanks for helping fren. So the links sadly expire after 1 week, unless we make our server a community server. We are still deciding if we wanna do that yet. Until then I try to just post it often or when needed.
Truly appreciate helping people find us though. God bless
I also wanna say I absolutely love the comments you have been making daily in general. I have had a very chaotic week yet coming here and seeing those has helped me through it. So thanks sis. Keep shining that light
Colossians 2:6&7 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2-6-10 This was a memory scripture verse. My family gave me. It’s one of the few that I remembered for the last four years. We sing it to a song, and it makes so much easier to remember scripture. Thank you for bringing this fine memory to my mind.
