After a partnership with Microsoft and Nokia's subsequent market struggles, in 2014 Microsoft bought Nokia's mobile phone business, incorporating it as Microsoft Mobile.
About 20 years ago, there was a Stephen King book called Cell, in which everyone receives a phone call on their cell phones at once and the sound they hear programs their brains to become rage zombies or something. I never read it, but my coworker did. The protagonist of the book is a guy who never owned a cell phone and thus was not converted.
Best selling fiction authors, especially science fiction, have been used since at least Asimov's time by the government to work out scenarios based on specific technologies being available or used. Some of them were allowed to write novels later based on those predictions.
"The owner 'off' Nokia." An important message to the world, proofread by the illiterate? Why would I give this any credence? (A common tipoff to e-mail scams is bungled grammar or spelling.)

"Off" jumped Off the screen at me. Proof Reading is now considered old fashioned, uncool and a waste of time.
I regard it as illiterate, sloppy, and undisciplined. If not an outright conceptual blunder. It rightfully destroys credibility.
The amount of Post Headlines on here with misspellings is astonishing.
I chalk that up to unfamiliarity with the "edit" feature. God's gift to man was the eraser.
There's a "Felany" in a new page headline right now! I'd copy past it but that doesn't seem ot work on headlines.
A "felony"? We have been thrown back 200 years to the time of illiterate spelling!
ok. Then dial up a teenager and try to get him to comply. His mother will love you for it. lol
