Then it's not law.
They need to give the money back.
Just a cool 1.7 trillionβ¦
It's okay, they'll print some more money out to return it
while in turn making the money you have in your pocket worth even less...the taxpayer takes it up the butt from every angle with these guys
Motion to stay the spending should follow, yesterday.
I would call that TREASON.
...at this point in our history the hangman will better serve our needs than any politician in washington dc
Wow. I was wondering if that unconstitutional proxy voting would really get called out.
It's a narrow victory in that it only strikes the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. The judge ruled the state of Texas lacked standing to challenge the rest. Texas only challenged two specific parts of the law. It'll likely be appealed to the 5th Circuit.
Maybe some other states can get in on it.
Who the heck knows what's in the bill, but it probably effects other states as well.
It's so weird that there are no Constitutional provisions that any part of a bill (or omnibus, I guess) that is successfully proven unconstitutional invalidates every other part of the bill, effective immediately.
Ken Paxton is the man. He'll see this through. We need more R AG's like him.
More "Rags" like him. I like that!
Rag 'em and Bag 'em Ken!
Demonrats and RINOs don't give a shit about the Constitution.
Does anybody know which court this was? The article doesn't say.
