If misleading the public was a real crime, almost all of the major corporations we know would be in deep shit. Especially Apple, the folks who first got really rich off of the idea of selling Asian components as being "Assembled in USA" and slap on a premium price tag and they will really believe its premium. That's how they killed Commodore. That's what lead to many other companies doing the same thing. That was the first big blow to US manufacturing, and on the cutting edge no less... if it weren't for Intel we would be 100% reliant on foreign silicon. AMD abandoned GloFo in 2018. The game here is to pretend that "environmental impact" is something we can actually measure. The industry is monopolized and so will go along with this so that "environmental assessments" can be used to stop any competition before it's large enough to be a concern.
And no, she will not go down in history, none of this will. These are the dark ages, bud. None of this will be recorded. Our ancestors will be too ashamed to allow it.
