I suspect a lot of French people will soon find the will to change, especially those of fighting age. Staring at the prospect of a world war fought on European soil is a precipice generations of French citizens never thought they would ever face.
Macron and his little Prime Minister buddy can criticize the populists all they want. The fact is, talk of a war against Russia, and likely it’s allies, will do more for the cause of populism than any logical argument will ever achieve.
'French President Emmanuel Macron’s newest attack dog, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, vociferously defended his boss’s “belligerent” war rhetoric, going so far as to brand Marine Le Pen and her National Rally party as Putin’s “troops” for being against sending French troops to fight in Ukraine.'
Poor Marine le Pen. Her daddy was branded far-right. Now she is branded a Putin Puppet (prolly communist, LEL). I am not sure whether Putin-support is considered Far Right or Far Left. In any case, one cannot connect Russia with far right ideologies, given their innate hatred of Nazis: it is so confusing innit, and they have a minority Communist party that ony partially supports Putin.
So, Macron labels 'the problem' as populism, not realizing that populism implies popular support (Putin has a 80% popular support, and Marine's support is growing), which is fundamental in a democracy. It is Macron's code for Waaah it's not fair, people are voting against me
Nazis aren't far right. They're socialist. The only reason a Nazi is viewed as "far right" to the Commie is becuse anything the the right of Communism is considered far right. Remember, you have to go past socialism to get to communism.
Not wanting to go to war is being equated with populism, far right extremism, nationalism and every other ism the powers who wish to continue to be use to control the conversation. It's so ridiculous. I think people should figure out what they want and then not let anyone from the left or from the government define them. That should be viciously challenged every time until they back down.
Do people really want war? If not, then why let warmongers control the conversation to make bloodshed in some foreign hole look right and good and patriotic? Just block them and wait them out. Their hysterical, desperate tone is enough to tell you they will lose something if you do, and their loss will be your gain.
BS because Biden is Putin's best friend and the immoral and corrupt liberals are then Putins troops. Putin has also publicly stated that he favors Biden. Putin is now trying to gain as much territory as possible because he can under Biden. If Trump is president again, there will be a ceasefire pending peace negotiations. For the same reasons, it is now an all or nothing situation for Hamas and Hezbollah. Under Trump, these wars would not have happened and we would have more peace.
It all seems like a big show to be honest, I dont trust Le Pen and the front guy of her party Jordan Bardella, another gay guy who doesnt want to leave the EU. Feel like these two are what you call RINOS
I believe you’re thinking of Florian Philippot, MLP’s former lieutenant and a homosexual. Le Pen and Philippot had a falling out and he left her movement to found a new party—and I actually think Philippot is a more hardline opponent of the EU than MLP. I believe that was part of the falling out… I don’t think her current lieutenant Jordan Bardella is gay. But, yes, MLP despite her virtues waffles a bit on the issue of EU membership for France. She’s never really articulated a clear position on the EU, which remains popular in France. She avoids taking a firm stance on that issue for the sake of electability.
Philippot is gay but I was talking about Bardella. He seems really gay (I don't really care but honestly it feels a bit like a gay invasion these last years). To me this is all BS, no alliance with Zemmour in 2022, just like the other side Melenchon and Hamon in 2017. They all like their jobs (paid by us) in the opposition.

I already support Le Pen. You don't have to sell me.
Different country same bs lies.

Who's functionally retarded more? The politician, or their followers
