NASA considered pencils but it was found that micro shards of graphite could break off the pencil, enter the electronics and potentially interfere with their operation.
Graphite is electrically conductive. It's not magic, wokeism, a mainstream media or government lie.
It is commonly understood knowledge, and for PC enthusiasts you could "mod" PCBs by using pencils to essentially redraw new paths which allowed you to bypass voltage limits etc.
Remember the tweet President Trump sent during his first term that used Boeing to complain about the MICs obsession with expensive, unnecessarily complex, high tech?
As he said at the time, OG simple tech is usually best
In other words, kiss "keep it simple, stupid" is best. 😘
One of the favorite ways in which Cabal destroys things is by making things unnecessarily complex. Be it equipment, process, scientific theories, statistics - anything at all. Once there are more than 3 levels of abstraction, most people lose the ability to apply common sense and this is what they want.
This story was used in a creative way in the Bollywood movie “3 Idiots.” Which is a great movie, if you’ve never heard of it. Funny, silly, inspiring. All about engineering students. Dancing and singing too.
And if you get a load of some Russian Tanks recently. Some of them are rolling around looking like Sheds. With Sheet Metal Plates welded together in a crude hut around it. Because the Ukrainians are doing the same thing the Russians are doing.
Kamikaze Drones. Or sometimes just using those Grenade Drones they got earlier in the war to drop a frag down an open hatch.
We’re seeing Warfare evolve before our eyes. And no one is quite sure how to react. We keep expecting more classical styles of warfare the likes of which World War 2, Korea, Desert Storm etc. Burned into our heads. And the likes of which an M1 MBT was designed to excel in.
What we’re seeing isn’t that. I’d imagine the intel being collected from Ukraine now. Is going to form the basis of a lot of Military Planning going forward around the world.
Look at most of our equipment going into Iraq when we invaded. Talk about some silly looking armor getting welded on anything and everything. All from reports of cables being strung up to take out our turret gunners and makeshift armor to protect the men inside from small arms. We didn’t have the up armored vehicles in the beginning. No military is immune to the adaptive nature of unconventional warfare. Seen it first hand
I recall an article from several years ago that complained about Americas glut of no longer effective and very expensive, Abrams tanks.
Specifically, the article complained about the inability to change this because Congress was addicted to lobbyist "pork".
Perhaps The Regimes Project Ukraine is providing a solution to these problems that will at long last free President Trumps DOD mavericks and innovative creatives.
So this one is only partly true.
NASA considered pencils but it was found that micro shards of graphite could break off the pencil, enter the electronics and potentially interfere with their operation.
Of course they could spend money engineering a way around that, which in hindsight likely was easier and therefore less expensive than a fancy pen.
Although imagine pencil or graphite shavings finding its way into your eye. Sounds like torture, so the Soviets probably enjoyed it.
Source: NASA?
Well, the Russians did too...
Here's an article from 2006 about it, so not woke...

Technically, everything has a vulnerability. No matter how complicated or advanced the machine, anything can be destroyed.

Correct, always fighting the last war.
Because the Abrams have been decimated after the most recent bill

Absolutely.
