China puts lead in everything...frozen fish has to be labeled now for source....all the stuff from Kroger is Chinese...
Definitely check any frozen fish from the major supermarkets. I've looked at packages of frozen catfish or tilapia that have Red, White & Blue packaging, the most American sounding brand... and yet it's imported from China.
If from China, put it back.
Not just lead, but they use arsenic compounds to stun fish in the ocean, which they then simply scoop up.
how do you know "all the stuff from Kroger is Chinese"??
It's on the source label...the frozen fish in plastic wrappers
Ive got a box of Kroger brand cod fillets and it doesn't say China anywhere, though it does say "distributed by Kroger blah blah USA"
Look at the bins of plastic wrapped fish
Idk what bins of fish you mean but will check next time I get over there
Man, I love Aldi. Everything is cheap and from the US. Private company too
Flash frozen veggies are healthier and taste better. Or just eat what's in season locally grown.
True, frozen vegetables are the best way to consume them after fresh.
Canning process takes away a lot of nutrients.
If you trusted the cheapest foods at your local grocery stores in the first place you're already in big trouble.
I ate Dijorno's pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the past 3 days. I feel awful.
I have no one to blame but myself. I've failed
You can get lead swabs. Pretty affordable. Swab your cookware, kids lead lollipops, and anything else you suspect.
Carnivore!
Can’t remember the last time I opened a “can” of food. Maybe tuna.
I've been doing carnivore for just over a month now and it's been great.
Lost over 20 lbs. already.
Why are the carbs and calories double? No sugar added. Corn(y), liberal tears, and something to watch for ingredients.
I do not buy great value products from Walmart. Never never never. It’s some of the most garbage food out there.
Canned goods are akin to poison. The heavy metals seep into the food as it is hermetically sealed. Would avoid canned goods as much as you can.
