I have your same thoughts and feelings. Seems like I wish every day away as soon as a get up in the morning. Work 85 hours a week and have 3 hours a day to rest my body and mind before bed to get up and repeat it all over again. I pray more and more every day for some relief, and a way off the never ending hamster wheel. I know in my heart God did not put us here to pay someone else’s way, give our life to some evil supporting groups or wish my days would end more quickly. I’m tired. So very tired, mentally, physically and spiritually. I’m at my precipice just waiting for everyone else to arrive with me so we can join forces and boot evil from this world. I hope to see that day, I hope and pray I can make it, just one more day. Prayers to you in your life as well. I’ll be waiting for others at the hangman’s tree to watch those who practice evil pay for their actions.
Find another job. My job is to drive on the beach all day. Look for one to do that is doing what you like to do. Then you will never have to work a day in your life.
Sometimes you find texts about how many hours people worked in medieval times "the dark ages" and it really wasn't much at all. I think it's by designing a currency that loses value that makes you have to keep running on the hamster wheel; a form of free will slavery.
If I remember correctly, there are curses in Genesis, and toiling was one of them, because of disobedience...
and have been reading about the Celtic myths about Dagda's cauldron, where everything we need is provided...and George Washington referred to Providence...
And if you look at the corner of the famous survival guide to the future George Magazine, it says live forever, love your job, so yes, I don't think we're supposed to struggle like we do.
think we have the directions on running this place reversed😎
Start your own business...I know this sounds crazy but it's true. You are only building someone else's dream when you work for them. You will perpetually work more hours, while making very little. Or you can start your own business and after a few years of hard work, hire others to do the heavy lifting while you simply find more business. This is another part of the great awakening that we don't talk about as much. The games end when we as a whole figure out what's going on and fix things ourselves.
I totally agree.
I prefer to work for myself doing my own thing.
So when people claim "you just don't want to work". It's extremely far from the truth. I bust a$$ hard. But still question if it's worth it when barely surviving.
My oldest kid is a hard worker but even at 19 he goes what's the point of life?
Work all day and don't really get anywhere.
And I see it in the general population.
Workers all seem to be on the mouse wheel...all weekend is bread and circus / sports or boozing up.
I feel you completely. And for anyone to think our type ain't workers simply hate us because we question the system.
It's like an agent smith effect.
I differentiate between a "job" and "work". A job gets you a paycheck.
WORK on the otherhand is noble. WORK engages mind, heart, and soul.
Everyone has a unique constellation of talents. Your task if you choose to accept it, is to explore and realize your purpose. Ideally, your WORK will synthesize these in service to the world. It is there that you experience "flow".
“Where your talents and the needs of the world cross, there lies your vocation.”

I taught special ed and art (mostly art) for 40+ years
Wait til you put in 45 years of working like I have. You will literally hate your life. I am retired now but not enough money to live on everything is so expensive but its sure nice not having to go to work.
You need more fulfillment in your life. One of the best sources of fulfillment is to help others. Find a way to help others and fulfillment will follow. Once you have fulfillment, you'll start to feel happiness.
Futurists lied to us that automation would mean we'd work less and less but the reality is that guys like me end up working full time doing what ten years ago was the work for 4 men while the other three get laid off.
Not sure what you do for a living, but I have never had a job like that in my life and, like you, I probably wouldn't like it if I had it--change jobs!
I dropped out of high school, worked as landscaper, took minimum wage to work on aircraft parts, got my liscence, worked overseas, traveled the world, got married, bought property, had children... I have a wonderful life. I still do not watch much TV or play video games. Stop wasting your life
It's more about what I'm doing than how much effort I'm putting in. Most modern jobs are the easiest tasks imaginable but it's so meaningless it's hard to give one's life to that.
Every Company and Trade i know needs 'intelligent' people by the hundreds because there are so many useless slugs. In the 70s we could quit a job and be working after lunch at another. This reminds me of then. Good luck finding a new job that makes you happy.
The link won't work to respond to your 70s comment.
What the point of raising that?
How easy it is to find employment then isn't now is it?
One engineer manager mentioned for every position he advertises there is between 1500/3000 people applying. Sounds easy 🥱

Gamble on yourself my friend. There are 11 million jobs open out there.

You need to move out of the city and definitely find a more fulfilling occupation
Work is designed to keep you occupied so that you don't have time to revolt against the evil system. That's the short answer.
I found this book only marginally helpful for me 40 years ago, but it has been very helpful for millions. What Color Is Your Parachute: https://archive.org/details/whatcolorisyourp0000boll_f9z6

Quit, get on welfare. I am sure that 'socialism' will work 'this time'.
People worked more and had less freedom than we do now under socialism. I don't get why that's always the go to.
'Free' sounds good to the lazy.

There is a high price to pay for free shit.
