The odds are Merchan will sentence DJT to jail. What happens if he goes to Rikers and the Dems remove his security? Can they remove the Secret Service detail assigned to protect him? You know they will try anything and everything.

Would be tough. The Secret Service detail is mandated by an actual law authorized by Congress. Unless a federal court (and eventually SCOTUS) rules that law invalid for some reason, or unless Congress acts to change the provisions of the law, a judge does not have the authority simply to remove the SS detail.
Trump said, "You'll love the way this movie ends."

How long do you think it would take the Dems in congress to write a bill removing SS protection from convicted felons? How many Rinos would gladly sign on?
It will be their DEATH WISH
Who's "their" ? Don't answer, just think about it. This isn't a topic I even want to discuss on this forum. Too many would use our freedom of speech against us saying we're conspirators. I pray to God it doesn't happen.
I agree 💯,, especially the discussion warning!
I pray daily that none of this happens to our President or to Us.
My outlook swings on an incredibly large arc these days.
And it's possible that's even the whole point of this charade. To get Congress to remove the SS protection of ex presidents convicted of a crime. Then they will be able take Obama et. al. without provoking an incident. I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
GOOD POINT .
Bennie Thompson is attempting to introduce a bill to remove trumps security.
It's already been proposed. Benny Thompson introduced the "Disgraced former protectees act" on on April 19 to strip secret service protection from any convicted felon. https://democrats-homeland.house.gov/news/legislation/ranking-member-thompson-introduces-legislation-to-ensure-no-secret-service-protection-for-convicted-felons-sentenced-to-prison
Yes under current law. When they pass a new law in the dead of night with the help of the RINOS, then what?
I think hunters conviction has a part in that. Counter moves are a bitch.
would it be effective retroactively tho?
Was Trump's supposed hush money business deduction beyond the statute of limitations? Did the Dems find a way to resurrect it and change it to a federal crime without a time constraint? In other words, a round peg fits a square hole if the sledge hammer is big enough. The Dems and the Rinos want Trump gone. They will build any size sledge hammer necessary to see it done including prodding the Russian bear to the point of having nukes fall on our head to see it done. They would rather see our country in ashes than have their own crimes made public.
so the sum of your response is that they wouldn't care. and I agree. but every time they break the rules to punish Trump it wakes even more people up to how.
Every time they don't have rebuttal and their only reply to a sensible question is " orange man bad " it also legitimizes coming after them once the tables are turned. Its more difficult if they later complain about a situation that we can play back video or repost their previous comments agreeing and backing it entirely when it was used against Trump.
They have already introduced a bill to remove protection for anyone convicted of a felony.
If that happens then DJT still has control over the USMC
