Think about the thought process of watching a civilian crawl across the roof with a rifle and setting up his shot, but not taking action because you haven’t been authorized to.
This whole situation sounds wrong. What are the odds that the SS wouldn’t cover a building 150 yards away, and that the guy would happen to be there on all days, and that the agents on duty wouldn’t take a shot.
A commentator on the radio last night, in the first couple hours, said counter snipers are especially trained to locate the source of the sniper fire and eliminate the sniper. They are good at that. They did that. They did that AFTER the sniper had gotten off 8 shots! Killed one and injured three.
Is their job to eliminate the threat before he fires?? That is consistent with protection. Or is it to eliminate the threat after he has fired? Which allows people to be killed.
What are their rules of engagement for an apparent sniper who has not opened fire??
You assume they had had the target sighted behind a reverse slope? I imagine they needed a sight picture to be effective. Nobody knows what they were seeing g through their scopes. That's a huge leap to assume.
Ding, ding, ding! Looks like we got a weinner, I mean winner
WTF ??
Sheesh!
Wonder who the team commander was who did not give the go to the counter snipers?
I don't understand why they need a "go" from someone who is not even seeing what he is seeing and milliseconds count. Just take the shot.
Crazy to let the perp kill someone and get off about 8 shots before neutralizing the threat.

If they are competent, the odds would be NONE.
Exactly. Even if they were acting incompetently the odds would be next to zero. I can’t imagine this wasn’t a set up.
SS has got to go.
Counter snipers don't wait for a go. You lose the window.
Then what were they waiting for?!?

Do they pick them based on their looks? Like there is a "type" most have to fit so in the end half of them look identical to each other?
ya know, i thought the same thing
I was thinking the same thing!
Maybe these FED bois are clones!?
Seriously, they all look like the enemies Neo was fighting in the Matrix.
No brainer. How did you put those together though. Nice job.
