It’s overused, but President Trump does exhibit a level of genius. In the span of one day he beseeches the Biden Administration to provide RFK Jr. Secret Service protection and they do. Then he makes a very cordial call to RFK Jr. that creates a lot of speculation about a role for RFK Jr.
What effect does this have on would be RFK Jr. voters? Does their protest vote become less meaningful? Does a possible seat at the table in the next Trump Administration move them?
I would love to see him head a task force, or department, on reviewing vaccines & all other drugs/healing practices.
How great would it be to have all healing modalities on equal footing, forcing insurance to accept them, or possibly be rid of insurance all together & bring down the costs of health care due to exposing corruption & making people truly healthy?
Speaking as someone that has multiple liberal family members that have transitioned to RFK support over the last few months but still hate Trump, yes this moves them. The key is to not lambast them for supporting RFK and noting that Trump and RFK have similar views, just different styles. RFK is helping many soften their view of Trump.

Because as they are politically uncompatible, they suddenly return the situation and make Democrats the bad guys: it cannot be that they are the bad ones and only the Dems are worth votes.
I think RFK Junior had the conversation recorded to start the process of moving his voters over to the person who’s offering him a role, President Trump.
I think Trump missed a fine opportunity to mess with Biden here.

Yup. Some of my family hate Trump, dislike Biden, and love RFK. After hearing this, they said “I’ll take anything that gets RFK a seat in the office”.
