It's pretty much standard for ANYONE who has to sign stuff often; in our digital world, what is the purpose of typing out a letter, printing it, and signing it, only to have to scan it back in to a PC to post it online?
No; all letters like this are composed in Microsoft word, and then a .jpg of their signature is inserted. Or photoshop, or whatever.
It's not fuckery / shady; it's just the reality of how this stuff works.
Nobody sits around actually physically signing papers any more.... come on man.....it's 2024; we have iphones and people don't know what bathroom to use!

If it's just a digital signature stamp, why would they choose to use one that is so vastly different than his typical signature? The underline and the "s" at the end? It looks like a bad forgery. It's bizarre.

It probably is, but in that case why wasn't it on campaign letterhead? Absolutely stinks like week old cod that the resignation was on a personal letterhead that anybody could have cobbled up on any computer. The sloppy things they're doing look like panic and that makes me wonder if he's even alive.

I'm thinking they did this letter without him knowing to undermine him. Now he can't take it back or say anything without making the party look even worse.
